  1. Have 0 clue if she does or not, but that would be a good get!!
  2. Would definitely help our PG situation. Would love a drop down player from a P6 conference. Not sure if UND would have a legit shot at him or not.
  3. I don't think Nelson stays. He will enter the NBA draft and if he gets good reviews he'll stay in, if not he'll transfer to a bigger school to prove he can play at the top level competition in college. Same thing that Scheierman did last year. https://www.inforum.com/sports/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/mcfeely-ndsus-grant-nelson-about-to-enter-new-world Him staying at NDSU is still an option, but it wouldn't make much sense if his goal is to get drafted in the NBA draft either this year or next year.
  4. I think he would seriously consider it. NDSU has got to be the favorite to land him though.
  5. I have not seen him play in person but I've seen both game footage and highlight clips. LOTS of potential!
  6. Yes. The article from Inforum lol Article title saying he’s down to 3 options and they were literally the only 3 options he had
  7. Summitt league schools
  8. Not sure why UND wouldn't be recruiting him. Extremely high ceiling! Who wouldn't want an extremely long, athletic, 6'10" player that can shoot threes, and has potential to develop some skills off the bounce. Seems like a no brainer to me. He can play the 4 for us. What would be wrong with a lineup of: 1. Trent (6'4") 2. Eaglestaff (6'6") 3. Omot (6'8") 4. Majouk (6'10") 5. TT (6'9") 4 guys can shoot the 3 ball. Spread the floor and let Trent do what he does best and create for others off the dribble. Tons of length on defense that could cause issues for other teams. Have a rim protector in Majouk. Could even throw some zone out there with that much length on the floor. Really think UND should be all over this kid.
  9. Sources are telling me: "University of Jamestown Forward likely down to three scenarios: transfer to bigger school, declare to pro basketball, or quit basketball."
  10. That was quick! Crookston must have been tampering!
  11. Let’s get him!
  12. Majok Majouk from Southwest Minnesota State University has entered the transfer portal. 6'10" but only 170 pounds. Super long and athletic. 3rd in the NSIC in blocked shots. 3 years of eligibility. Would be a project but very high upside! 7 PPG, 5 RPG, and 1 block per game. Shot 37.6% from three on 85 attempts as well. UND needs to be all over this kid ASAP! Another player from SMSU to keep an eye on if he hits the portal is Dunwa Omot. From Mankato but went to different high school than BJ. His brother? Cousin? 6'3" guard. Sophomore this year and averaged 17 PPG with 37% from three on 140 attempts. 2.3 assist to turnover ratio. Could be a good player to bring in as a backup PG or another wing scorer. If he enters the portal UND needs to be all over him as well!!
  13. Tyree Ihenacho has entered the portal from James Madison
  14. I thought Levias could have found some sort of role next year or filled a need for the team. But I hope he finds a school that he can have success at!
  15. I wouldn't think so. Especially with ORU's AD already saying on record that they are willing to do anything and everything they can to keep him the head coach at ORU as long as possible, I just couldn't see it. I guess who really knows, but I feel like he will be patient and wait for the perfect opportunity before leaving ORU.
  16. I really doubt he would leave Oral Roberts to go to North Texas. I think he stays at Oral Roberts. Signed an 8 year contract after their 2021 tournament run. I think he stays at Oral Roberts at least another year or two until the right job opens up for him to continue to progress in his coaching career.
  17. You missed the whole point. Carry on..
  18. I agree with Bill in the fact that at this time giving him an extension was the right thing to do. But I keep hearing everyone say that "We all know he is a good coach" and I just question that a bit. I decided to take a dive into the stats to see if they are backing up what my eyes have been seeing. Yes, these stats are from Synergy, a site that Mr. Bodyguard is not a fan of. A key way to see if someone is a good coach is if their offensive and defensive schemes and philosophies are working or not. Offensively 22-23: "Good", 0.925 PPP, 40% of teams better than us 21-22: "Average", 0.884 PPP, 60% of teams better than us 20-21: "Average", 0.882 PPP, 59% of teams better than us Defensively (Cover your eyes!!!) 22-23: "Poor", 0.956 PPP, 92% of teams better than us! 21-22: "Poor", 1.003 PPP, 99% of teams better than us!! 20-21: "Poor", 0.962 PPP, 95% of teams better than us! As you can see, our offense is average and I think it may be time to take a good look at the defense and change up our schemes a bit... Next thing that can show if someone is a good coach or not is their after timeout (ATO) plays that they draw up ATO 22-23: "Below Average", 0.832 PPP, 69% of teams better than us 21-22: "Below Average", 0.781 PPP, 81% of teams better than us 20-21: "Excellent", 0.972 PPP, 8% of teams better than us (Need to do whatever was done this year) It is a good sign that we have improved a bit this past year from the other two years but still have a long way to go if we want to be a competitive team in the Summit. We need to have higher standards as a program than just improving a smidgen over 3 years. And yes, there are more that goes into if someone is a good coach or not, but if their schemes and philosophies aren't working and they only win 30% of their games then can they actually be a good coach? Isn't the goal of being a basketball coach to win games? Thought it was interesting that the main stats seem to back up what my eyes have been seeing.
  19. I’m sorry. I will stop dreaming. Me and my two burners (Good Good & McBuckets) will get out of here.
  20. Dang! You didn’t have to call me out like that! I’m still a little sensitive about the fact that I won’t be hired as the new coach!
  21. Yeah he is! Probably not a good look for one of our reporters and a Midco reporter to be beefing with a former player on Twitter. Really not a good look for any parties involved.
  22. I think so Zach, I think so
  23. You can assume whatever you want. But at the end of the day my opinion is incorrect. Your opinion is incorrect. Everyone's opinions are incorrect. The only opinion that is correct is @jdub27 and Sather's bodyguard, SD Now, let's drop this and talk about how UND can find a way to be competitive in the 2023-2024 season like this forum page is intended for.
  24. I believe you meant Stockholm, Sweden. Either way, just looking at his physical size and the stats he put up this past season I don't think he'll be dropping down to the UND level.
  25. I mean sure, whatever. Thank you for sharing your opinions with us. Why do you care so much about what other people care about? It is such weird behavior from a grown adult.
