Great write up! I’m worried UMKC is going to be fired up for this game after losing to us in Grand Forks and after the loss to NDSU on Thursday. Conference road games are tough on the road. Especially after the home team just lost a game.

That was one of the fastest paced games I have seen! Was very entertaining to watch! Glad we came out with the W!!

Agree 100%! You need a point guard in order to make the team go. Trent was finally given the keys halfway through the season and allowed to play his game how he plays best! The team is playing at a different pace now! It has been fun to watch and has been what we needed all season! Him making some 3's now is icing on the cake! The team keeps getting better every game. Been fun to watch recently!

Stopped watching at half to pay more attention to the really good women’s game. Tuned back in with 8 minutes left as we made the comeback. Guess I should have ran that decision by you guys first! My fault!

Great comeback in the second half! Wish a 3 would have dropped at the end when we had a few chances to time it up! Didn’t quit when down 22 at half to a much better team, especially being on the road! Really all you can ask for! Great effort. Now time to get the next one!

I agree! Back to the game tonight, I don't have this one as close as you do. We played them very well at home and lost by 12. On the road will be an even tougher challenge. And we don't match up with them very well. With the adjustments UND has made recently and how they have been playing I think they will cover the spread but be more in that 15-18 point range.

Do you think even if they didn't win the conference tournament, say go undefeated in the regular season but lose in the championship game, that they will get an automatic bid? According to CBS's bracketology, they are an 11 seed. Ranked 50 in KenPom and 37 in NET rankings.... 19-4 with their 4 losses all being Quad 1 losses at the moment.

So really we’d rather be the 10 than be the 8 or 9. Interesting.

I predicted us to beat Denver in that thread. I predicted us to beat Omaha today in the other thread when I said we would go 1-4. Please tell me where I’m wrong?? You seem to be off on your assumptions a lot tonight.

Check the other thread buddy. I predicted us to win both games bud. Actually put my money where my mouth was and bet on UND to win both games. Very happy we won. Just don’t get too excited about beating two teams worse than us on our home court. That should be expected.

That’s not though judging by the comments in this thread. People are acting like we just won the conference championship. It was great to get two wins and were fun games to be at but those were games we SHOULD win and should EXPECT to win. Let’s see performances like these against good teams and not bottom feeder teams and then we can go from there!

Fair points! Other than Omaha, the final four games are all vs teams that are right in the thick of it and will need to get as many wins as possible for seeding purposes. I could see teams having that as extra motivation that they need every single win and can't afford losing one to a bottom of the conference team. I wouldn't be surprised if we go 3-2 the final five games. But I also wouldn't be surprised if we go 1-4.
