Not necessarily talking about post defense. Talking about someone to protect the rim on drives. Team defense is hard when you have 0 rim protection.

We have 0 rim/paint protection on defense. It’s always going to be tough to be a good defensive team when you’re missing that piece. Not saying it’s impossible, but it certainly makes it way more difficult.

I think Reggie can provide some scoring off the bench. He just needs to settle in and relax. Like you two mentioned, this is a lot of guys getting first D1 minutes against a legit D1 team. It can’t get much worse of a half so let’s compete this 2nd half

We’ve turned the ball over on like 80% of our possessions and Treysen has done nothing for us. That’s a recipe for disaster!

Kraft was a walk-on. He is still a walk-on for a reason. Don’t want to be too negative but that’s just the facts of the matter. To say he is the best shooter on the team when a guy named Treysen Eaglestaff is on the roster is outrageous as well. There’s a difference between shooting in an empty gym and shooting in D1 games. He also cannot compete on the defensive side of the ball at this level. Or rebound. We have Panoam, King, Eaglestaff, Reggie, & Mara all in front of him. Mayar also played some 3 last night. We are fine at the guard spot with those guys. If we should be concerned about anything it should be with our center position & depth there.
