My complaint with Studsrud is apparent in the clips-he knew who he was throwing to from the time he ieft the huddle, but damn he took nice shots downfield.
He made a few money throws especially on 3rd down. He was tossing balls that when they left his hand, I wondered where it was going and then a receiver would come into play and make the catch.
He was a great QB today.
You're right, but in the history of sports, no one is more popular than the backup QB.
Though, the illusory, imaginary great Coach willing to take over the team is way up there too.
I've often wondered why the wholesale changes. Why not leave 44 out there with other second stringers or Morrisson etc? Why not leave one of the starters out with the next group. You can rotate which starters, but I have not understood the wholesale group changes? Nebraska's stud LB seemed to play the whole damn game.
Good stuff and most here will appreciate your thoughts.
Cannot worry about the few who believe it's horrible to find good things in a W because that means you endorse a losing attitude. NO ONE here wants a loss, but a few think you need to bi7ch about it or you're not a true fan.
