    Hermantown moving up would make 7AA just unreal. East, Andover, Grand Rapids.... Warroad and East Grand would have a punchers chance in 8AA. I think those teams could make the adjustment to AA in the youth level pretty easily and hang with the big boys. We are all Thunderhawks tonight.

    My home town (Minot) went through a first round losing streak from 1993 to like 2014 at the ND state tournament where it felt like anything and everything that could have gone wrong would for them to lose that quarterfinal game. I feel White Bear's pain. They've lost some heart breakers.

    Chanhassen and Cretin should be a good one tomorrow. The WBL vs. GR game ought to be electric. The X will be orange and black for that one.

    I'm in the boat of keep the goalie in the net that's gonna be going in the playoffs. However if you do plan to start Hobie, on Saturday let's say, you bring along Johnson and Ludvig is in a suit that game. No coming in cold in the 2nd if he gives up some softies, it's a 100% game off.

    And this is why I'm a believer in two classes. There are more kids playing A level Bantams in Grand Forks than you have kids playing bantams in Jamestown.

    I'm excited to see the Bump kid play. Man did he put on a show in the Minnesota High School playoffs. The game against Cretin....wow.

    My thought: The opportunity to join a relatively weak section in class A hockey and you have a fantastic opportunity to play in the Minnesota State tournament. Alexandria (likely winner) lost to Sheyenne this year. Wahpeton got out of ND with their ties to Breck, you would think that Park Christian would allow Shanley to do the same. I guess a lot would depend on numbers of the Angels program.

    I've always wondered if there is interest from the Shanley side to leave, and with Park Christian involved they could play in Minnesota and join section 6A. Just a random hockey thought, nothing backing that, just a thought.

    I was told that in the South-Shanley Co-op that South was the only party in the agreed upon terms to be able to dissolve the Co-op? Any truth to this?

    There are contracts and all sorts of approvals needed from the state to create a co-op.
