I see Bismarck High and Williston winning today. Williston is at least excited to still be a part of a state tournament, the Minot kids don't give a $hit. I bet if you talked to a majority of the Fargo North players they would be thrilled to be still playing hockey, the Minot players need a reality check....

I'm affraid I have to call a sieze fire for tonight. International Politics 220 will kick my @ss tomorrow morning if I don't get some sleep. Everyone has a story from around the state of the screw jobs he's pulled. High School coaches (Hell, any coaches) take special interest when he's officiating, but probably because he's such a nice guy.

Minot always poops the bed I'm affraid. I've pretty much spent the last hour trying to reason with other posters about your last point, and to defend Minot a little bit (they really don't deserve it after todays performance).

The Laducer part is correct I'm affraid. He's a horrible official. Ohh wait, let me put it in terms that are acceptable. He pisses in his breezers while officiating hockey games all the time!

So there is no possibility at all that I was joking about Laducer being an overweight idiot, yet when another person (that you by chance get along with) talks about high school hockey players urinating in their breezers multiple times its just fun and games, and its okay to do. Just admit that you won't agree with anything I say. Because you know its the truth, and you are too GF biased to see it any other way. PS: When did I say anything about myself being a truly great individual? PSS: I'm sure that all the GFC students were joking around when they made comments (that only soohockey is okay to repeat) as I was wearing a Minot t-shirt around the Ralph tonight. I would like to apologize to members of the board for my many posts trying to talk reason into a couple of hockey fans. I hope that no one will look down upon my opinion of hockey in the future. I guess I'll always believe that kids deseve equal opportunities, and although the west is weak in hockey, the only way they will get better is playing east region teams in a setting like the state tournament. Sorry again....

I'm sorry to correct you sir: Finally is spelled with an "N" you've needs an ' between the u and the ve I'm sure your knowledgeable about the English Language as well! I'm sorry to bother you again, but you never told me what the other smartest person in North Dakota has done for amateur hockey?

I'm not going to argue anymore. This is stupid. Anything I say is looked at as stupid simply because I come from Minot. You and soohockey are almighty hockey gods who know everything. Ben McClean sucks, Ty Stahl sucks, Minot hockey sucks, west region teams shouldn't be allowed in the tournament, hell, lets just make it the Grand Forks classic. Red River and Central play a three game series for the state title, because all other teams suck. We could include Fargo south, but they have no goaltending, so we better just make it Red River and Central. PS: Minot beat Grafton 5-1, so I don't know if you should allow Grafton into the first annual "WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYTHING TOURNAMENT FOR HOCKEY SUPREMACY!!!!!" I say Red River wins the series....2-1

Living in the past huh? I played hockey back in the day as well, but I don't have to go telling others how good of a player I was. In the long run, it is a simple game, played by kids for fun. Where you get off talking about kids pissing in their breezers, makes you look like a complete bafoon. I bet had Minot won today you wouldn't even be on the board talking about how much better than Stahl and McClean you are.

Your right, are you available to play goalie for Minot High next season, they could use somebody that is your caliber. Minot sucks, so you'll get a lot of shots.

Its not Stahl's fault minot lost 6-2. But I'm sure you would have the same opininon whether he would have had 12 saves or 45 saves. Minot lost as a team.

Give the kids a friggen break. Yes in the thick of things of a state hockey tournament they didn't play well in one game. Tyler happens to live close to my parents back in Minot, and you wouldn't believe how badly he felt about his effort when I talked to him during the evening session. The pressure that goes into playing goalie is a pressure like no other, and when you have a solid or average game you go unnoticed a lot of the time. When you have a really bad game is when the naysayers come out and talk about how bad of a player you are, and what you should have done differently. I still believe that McClean and Stahl have proven themselves as solid goaltenders in the state of North Dakota. Tyler won't win a state championship this year, but only a few goaltenders have ever had 20 plus wins in a season in North Dakota, and he should be proud of that.

Once again, Minot breaks my heart....but then I'd been saying they would break my heart all week long, so I guess I expected it.... Anybody want to give me a quick recap of the game please?? Thank you.

Trust me, Minot will play a very bad hockey game and lose to Central. I'll be cheering for Central against GPR though....

I wish I could jump on the Minot bandwagon, but they've broken my heart too many times. I expect Central to SHUT OUT Minot, probably by a score of like 2 or 3 to nothing..... Might as well throw out my day one predictions: Central over Minot GPR over Williston Red River over Bismarck (probably without Aide) South over Century And for the next 12 months all I'll here is that no western teams should be allowed in the state tournament.

Okay, I can't remember who was bashing Dehne for giving up more goals than Olson, but Dehne has started pretty much every game for Century, where Olson has for the most part split time on a much better team. Century wouldn't be at the state tournament if it wasn't for how well he played against HB in the play in game. Century probably won't do a whole lot at the state tournament, but in the games I've seen him play he's been solid.
