The gophers have been pretty bad of late on the power play. Actually got outshot when they had the man advantage last night. My favorite thing is their rookie goaltender giving up one goal and being thrown under the bus after their studs didn't score a goal on Juho.

Its too bad that only one person can with that award.....would be cool to see it split, as I'm not sure that one Twin is better than the other. Season comes down to next Friday against Wisconsin. Win and you stay alive, lose and the season is over. Simple as that.

You've got to think thats a point of motivation for the group. I'm guessing the mark has got to be four goals. The beavers don't score a lot but hockey is such a stupid game that anything can happen in about 30 seconds. Four plus goals in the last five minutes. And whoever is in the net can't have a shutout going.

From the sounds of it Hak was pleased with Gaarder on that line. So I don't expect any change in units 1-3. I think the fourth line may have lost their identity a bit, so I believe we will see a change there. Rodwell was tough to play against last night. Played with an edge. Wouldn't be surprised to see the reunited Jim-General-Rodwell line back at the Ralph tonight. Zane has to be. Has to be.

I played around with the numbers and because of top half teams playing each other I believe this is correct. The worst they could be at is 34 points tied for sixth with teams they own the head to head with. Playing for home ice......alright.

In the final box score it seems like Gleason gets the goal on the assist from Kristo and Knight (first point for Kristo against BSU). Looked like Rocco got the tip, but I guess he said he didn't touch it.

May as well say, I don't want UND to play Bemidji in the playoffs. Could you imagine playing them in a best of seven series? Ohh hell......

When puck support is there and the short passing game is going its easy to get the puck north and south. At times its been there tonight, but at other times they've tried to stretch their passes a bit and Bemidji is all over it.

I'll give the beavers credit for doing a remarkable job on Kristo. They've got him frustrated.
