Drake's penalty I think was towards the end of Friday nights game. The look on his way to the penalty box was classic.

Minnesota is lucky Flynn didn't play all game long. Wait a second. They aren't lucky because it would have meant a for sure loss which keeps the draft pick in the top five. Now time for Christian to further cement his fate as a garbage man next year.

As a North Dakotan I'm glad that Montana will be forced into flying to Fargo. After they bailed out on playing the Bizen. Or was that Montana State? Or both of them? I dunno. Bizen roll to the the national championship. You heard it here for the fifty fifth time.

Yeah, him explaining to me why Drake got an elbowing penalty when he hit the guy to the head or neck area when he hit him directly in the shoulder on the replay was a bit confusing....

My issues with the officials dealt mostly with consistency. Rocco gets bear hugged and no call......then UND's Murphy bear hugs a guy because its supposedly okay and he gets a penalty. Definitely a penalty on Murphy, but why not on the BU defenseman on Rocco? With three minutes left in the game you call a penalty based on a broken stick with a UND player attempting to take a shot.......If you're willing to blow your whistle then it better be 100 percent obvious. When I coached I got into an argument or two with officials. But If an official told me he didn't have the best view of the play so he couldn't make a call you really couldn't argue. You can't call what you can't see. Don't make up a slash if you didn't see one etc.....How that official saw a slash by OD will never make any sense to me.

Its not like the reff wasn't right there watching the play.....There was nobody in his way. I'm not sure what the hockey east process is for grading their officials but Mr. Shea and his partner in crime were terrible all weekend. They both get an F.

Hahaha. No not that play. But as heated as things get out there I'm surprised he didn't pull a JP Parise on the play.

Thoughts on tonight: ~Everyone appreciates the effort, but obviously the final result is what counts. Maybe this is a step in the right direction. ~OD was the best I've ever seen him in a UND uniform. The play where he drew a penalty going to the net was the best play he's made at UND. ~Big game from Pattyn. Nice response after BU took a 2-1 lead. ~I think they've got something with OD-Drake-Rocco. That line played pretty well. ~I know of the Schlossman rule....but that goaltender played great. As a former goaltender, I think its okay to give an opposing goalie credit once in a while. Although it can't happen fifteen times in a row. Need to bury chances. I wouldn't mind seeing this team for the rest of the season. Maybe the business suits woke em up.

I think someone said 58-31 in favor of UND.

Frustrating night for the boys. Played their guts out. Nothing to show for it but a tie.

The boys have played well tonight. Some bad hops here and there, and a goaltender that just finds his rhythm. You throw up about a shot a minute pace and you've have had some grind time.

And that should have been a penalty shot. You can't even for a second cover the puck in the crease.....joke.

These clowns are awful. Thats one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

Our guy gets slashed and a slashing penalty gets called on him.

If BU ends up winning one I think O'Connor may be the player of the game for BU. Played pretty well this weekend. Wasn't the difference last night, but might just be tonight.

Just not getting the bounces. UND has had all the pressure and then BU goes down on a broken play and gets a perfect bounce.

BU gets away with two holding calls in their own end on that shift.
