I agree, Gwoz got screwed. Would college hockey be better with him? ABSOLUTELY! Does it make it easier to cheer for Denver now that he isn't coaching them? For me the answer is yes. Great coach, don't get me wrong, but some of his actions that made their way to YouTube still rub me the wrong way. Just my opinion.

I think UND and Denver finish 1-2. Losing players like Drake, LaDue, Stecher, Schmaltz, and Luke Johnson will cause some growing pains for our team. The Gambrell injury hurts Denver a lot. Maybe I'm wrong.....make that, I hope I'm wrong.

I'm so glad Gwoz doesn't coach Denver anymore. Makes it easier to cheer on Denver against BU last night. Denver wins the league IMHO, Montgomery will have that team in the frozen four this year.

He looked like a Freshman playing his first ever game. Smart kid. Knows he has a good offensive upside, but was more concerned about being defensively reliable and getting the speed of the game figured out. One bad turnover, but I believe Tucker was on the ice and bailed him out. Once he gets his feet wet I'm anxious to see him jump up in a rush or two. Four of 6 defensemen on Saturday GF area kids......nice.

Was at game. Noticed this as well. Couldn't really tell what was said between the two, but not sure why the Canisius coach had a goalie stick with him either. Not one of Boeser's better games, but still manages to get on the scoresheet and make a huge difference. I thought Berry was going to blow a gasket in the first period when UND was killing a penalty and instead of stopping and starting in the d zone Brock took a skate through the neutral zone before getting back into the zone to watch his guy get a quality look on net.

Central kid. Great size. Schloss has a story on him on his blog. Will be a Soph this year, so a few years away.

Take some of the money they're pouring into Herbert Parker Stadium.....that place has more fans for Bishop Ryan games than Beaver football. I didn't know that, interesting fact. I agree that MiSU would be a great addition to the WCHA. All Seasons Arena holds about 4,000 people which would be perfect for a WCHA school. Could not imagine the ticket demand if they would be able to get UND in there for a non conference game. It'd be like when UND started playing Bemidji at the old Glas Field House…..standing room only.
