Why Adams with Rhett and Johnson? Why not put Weatherby with Rhett and Johnson so you can have a skill guy with Jones and a "heavy" line with Rhett. Is Adams going to be here next year? 5-1 UND. Are we cheering for Denver or Western?

My bet is Lawson is headed to SCSU or Duluth. Every other shift two days in a row against the top two teams in the state in A hockey. Best of luck to his little brother and the battle he has ahead.

This^^^^^^^. They said in the Herald the team knew that going into the third period they would be on the road regardless. So then......(not after Duluth, not after CC, not after it happened at the end of the first period last night) was the time to finally bench the guy when he essentially couldn't hurt them any more than he already has with terrible penalties.

There were more people at the Hogg a few years ago......

Hak's was meat and potatoes old school Canadian. Get the puck deep, cycle down low and hit like they impregnated your sister. Physical neutral zone play looking to create chances the other way. Frattin's group was probably the ideal team to play that system. *Also* Set Ryan Duncan up to the goalies left in the area from the dot to the top of the circle and let him shoot. I liked that system best.

If this team somehow finds a way to the postseason its largely because of Thome. I can't believe he has played as well as he has. Has given them a chance every game after Scheel went down.

Welp....first they didn't know how much time the OT would be.....then they thought Minnesota could pick up the puck and score into an empty net on a delayed penalty on them......then they thought a legal goal could be scored with the net off..... Scary.
