Duluth is due for an off year in the goaltending department right? I don't think they had another kid start a game all year other than Shepard did they?

@Blackheart is the MVP of the sports world right now. The 97 team made me truly fall in love with the Fighting Sioux. My dad always talked about how great the program was. We went to games, but I never really understood until that year. We lived and died together during that magical run. My dad also picked me up early from school so we could watch the Thursday CC beatdown. My mom was pissed but my dad always said she'd get over it.

One of my favorite UND hockey memories is the 2nd period of the 1997 championship game. Down two zip after one and we outscore them 5-1 that period. Anyone have highlights of that game?

I played GF men's league with Panzer one year when I was at UND. Super competitive guy. Loved talking hockey with the guy.

Dave Berger in a reply to Schloss said both voters were from Omaha. Not sure if that's true or not, but looking at some of the ballots over the years there have been a few tragedies for a couple different players.

Best time of the year in the college game. Gonna see a fired up CC team playing for their hockey lives. Hopefully we don't have any suspensions from our goon league series against Omaha. I imagine the NCHC will be handing those out to our guys in the next few days. We will be lucky to have a full lineup.
