  1. Leave Duffy in. Day off tomorrow. He can go two innings today.
  2. Thank God they don't owe him 7 million next year and it's a team option..... 6-5......wow
  3. Turn the page...... We need five from Martin Perez tomorrow. No game Monday means all hands on deck bully wise. Duffy is fine, May, Romo, Graterol, Littell, Thorpe.
  4. I am so lost with the management of the club at times......dear lord.
  5. Twins not screwing around here. Good. Rodgers or May next. Offense needs to scratch one across. 6-4 Phillies top 8.
  6. They are out of the bleeping inning at 5-2...... Then Castro......fock man......why are we throwing that to that guy???
  7. 5-2 in the top of 6. Not enough for Stewart yet. 5-4 Phillies now....some Harper guy went yard.
  8. I've never understood relief pitchers that work so slow......every bad pitch or hit the more the tension mounts and you just prolong it.
  9. Take off your UC Davis colored glasses you Aggie backer. Watch the game without bias.... (Terrible no call, surprise)
  10. If the guy catches the ball past the line of scrimmage its OPI because of guys blocking down field. If he catches it behind the line of scrimmage it's not. Zero clue if its reviewable or not. Must be.
  11. NDSU got lucky a guy caught a screen pass a yard past the line of scrimmage which negated a TD for Davis. Davis looks good. Got some athletes.
  12. Easy on the word class there......easy...
  13. Berrios vs. Sparkman today. How about 7 strong and a lead so big that not even Stewart or Hildy could blow it in two innings????
  14. I go away from the change up if I'm the pitching coaches with Graterol. Unless you use it early in a show me situation, but it's been terrible as a two strike pitch. I'm still waiting for someone to square up his fastball. Lindor hit one hard, but it was late contact and right at Sano who should have had it. If this team wants to make a run, I think Graterol is a big part of it.
  15. Graterol's inning: Right handed hitter.....if our 1B is normal depth it's a double play ball. Okay....2-2 pitch with nobody on.....why go away from the fastball? Instead, changeup, base hit. Same thing as the homer the other night.....don't speed up the hitter's bat when they haven't proven they can catch up to 99 mph. Next hitter has a slugging percentage of .231 and your outfield is playing in a deep no doubles?????
  16. Graterol in in an important spot. I'll never understand shifting with a guy that throws 100 on the mound.....
  17. Finally some separation. Big if they don't have to use Romo, Duffy, or Rodgers tonight. Great appearance for Dobnak
  18. If the boys get some more runs here and give Dobnak a cushion there is no reason he can't get to the 6th inning.
  19. I've heard rumblings of this being a possibility for him. If in a year or two Buxton doesn't pan out health wise you already have your every day SS in Polanco, and your every day 2B in Arraez. What they do with Kiriloff when he is ready is another good question. I suppose Cruz could be retired by then.
  20. Like Gardy or hate him you have to figure out a way to be better than 1-18 vs. a team in your division. I understand you are rebuilding but to lose that many times to one team is absurd. Just like when he was in Minnesota and couldn't hit water when jumping out of a boat against the Yankees.
  21. Three right handed hitters and we are rolling the dice with Thorpe..... Fingers crossed.....
  22. I think so. I wouldn't put him on the postseason roster either.
  23. There are no excuses for the Twins. They have to win seven of ten against the Royals and Tigers. If for some reason they don't win the Central at this point it's a Vikings like collapse. If the season ended today the Twins are on the road in the playoffs at Yankee stadium. They are better on the road, but we've seen the Yankees broken record numerous times.
  24. Don't hit, we lose.....yup. Castro has me baffled at times with his pitch calling. It baffles me that you have Graterol in the game, who obviously has a great fastball and Collins fouls it off twice in his at bat. Then instead of burying a slider or busting him off the plate with a fastball a foot inside you have him throw of all pitches....the changeup.....his third best pitch, in a tight game, with an 0-2 count.
  25. Rocco did his best to give the Sox a meaningful win without Giolito. The Law firm of Cruz, Rosario, Gonzales, and Arraez had other ideas.
