So, I just watched a gopher hockey preview, and keeping in mind today's cancel culture, how is Wally Shaver still employed calling Minnesota hockey games after calling (albeit mistakenly, not the brightest bulb) a Minnesota born hockey player a derogatory term during a university of Minnesota broadcast?

Starting pitching has been really good. Lineup still finding itself. I'd say a 2nd or 3rd place finish in the Central seems like a fair guesstimate.

The team has a bunch of centers, so if McLaughlin can play wing (100%) put him up in the top 6. Emerson is a big kid, and is playing center in Chicago on a line with BU commit Jack Harvey who is also having a tremendous season. There should be good competition at the top. Gaber-Berg-Blake James-Emerson-McLaughlin Perron-Schmaltz-Strinden Kunz-Jammer-Ness Albrecht, Montgomery, **Judd If Judd comes back he makes that 4th line lock down with Jammer and Kunz. Or you move him to the third with Schmaltz. There are six guys that can play center, so they can get creative if they need too.

I got to watch Swanson practice a few weeks ago and he was special. Not the biggest guy, but his play away from the puck and IQ and vision are special. He will only get better too.

Ludvig a big time get. Guy is used to getting hung out to dry, with little offensive support. Used to tons of shots, will have to make the adjustment.
