Drama and backbiting can wreck an entire season, even with the best players in the country. I hope it isn't beginning already. A team can still win with a crap coach- case in point, the 2004 Olympic Women's Soccer team- April Heinrichs was the worst coach in USWNT history, and the likes of Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain, Joy Fawcett, Kristine Lilly and Julie Foudy still won Olympic Gold. Edited to add- the only person that I am saying is a crap coach with this post is April Heinrichs.

We were on our way back from a wedding in the Cities and didn't get to hear much of the game. I'm happy that Hellavang got some FG points under his belt. Today his foot won the game for us! That's gotta be a huge monkey off his back. I can't wait 'til Homecoming!!!!! GO SIOUX!

I was at Red Rocks in Colorado for the Sheryl Crow concert last night, and when we walked up to the entrance- the one guy that was sitting there played football for the Sioux in the 70's. He had a whole herd of Sioux people with him. It was pretty cool. Not really something I expected to see way out in Denver.

You guys are right- it should be all or none. Hopefully the courts see it that way too.

The roster is really young. 18 freshman and sophomores, a junior and two seniors. Two new assistants.....I think it will be interesting year to say the least.
