Holy hell, gas is only 1.09........

I like to encourage all kinds of trouble.....like the avatar "threatening" people with her 6-year-old mad hockey checking skills in other threads.

The thread was ruined when the name Kessel was put into the title. The GIF war is funny.

Me! My kids are stoked they keep asking when it is.

I already watch hockey on tv wearing a helmet....I thought that everyone did. The brat thing reminded me of the guy in the suite behind us at the West Regional that dumped a beer on me........which worked out good, cause he handed me a couple over the railing after I asked if I could have the next one in a cup. Ah, sweet hockey memories.

I think it's a good idea. I won't go on the ice without a helmet.....but then again, I suck and I fall all the time.

Actually, I think that (if he is found guilty- and remember he is innocent until proven guilty) he should just be let out into the general population of a maximum security prison among those prisoners waiting to die- and refresh their memory of what he did. He wouldn't last any longer than Jeffery Dahmer in a room full of mop handles.

I agree with you, PCM......why is the defense not claiming that he is innocent, rather saying that she was unconscious after three minutes and that she was already gone when he started to transport her. I think the defense knows what they are doing, and will try to set the court up with something that they can appeal the decision on. I saw Ralph Erickson many times in action in disctrict court, and he definalty knows what he is doing. Let's just hope and pray that all goes well and there is no mis-trial......it must be hard for her family to watch, I can't imagine what it would be like to have to sit through all of this again. MafiaMan- I agree with you too, people shouldn't be let out and given another chance at life. If one thing comes out of all of this- it's the hope that there is at least one less victim out there because the laws have been changed and made stricter......the really sh**** thing is that it happened and it happened here.

I want my row of seats when they tear it down........

Can we get a drive-by from the guy on the unicycle again?

Great post, redwing. Another thing- UND's attendance, although down quite a bit from 2004-05 in 05-06....was still the 8th highest attendance in the nation. The attendance wasn't anywhere near great, but even if you put 1,000 people in the Ralph it looks like no one is there.

Threatening? She's six. It was a joke. Take a chill pill.

Seriously- Have a daughter that starts playing hockey and you'll become a fan. I dunno, I think that there is something kinda cool about the avatar taking a pic of her favorite player out of the middle of a program and sticking it up on the glass during the game.......even if I did sit back and laugh at her. Maybe it's because when I was young we had no female athletes to look up to.......now they do. I guess the bottom line is........little girls can become anything they want to, so don't get in my daughters way, she'll slam you into the boards and look back and laugh when you fall down into a heap on the ice. Believe me, I'll be laughing too.

I think it could have been done a little better. I love Digger Anderson's interception and touchdown at the beginning of the SCSU game. A friend came and sat with us 10 minutes into that game and she had missed it cause some moron wanted to have a conversation instead of watching the game. As for the Scream Yellow campaign at NDSU- I thought it was perfect. For years I would tell my Bison lovers that they were green and yellow and they would get a little agitated with me and tell me that it was gold- not yellow. Then the whole Scream Yellow fiasco, and I told them that I was right. A good friend of mine used to be a lineman for the Bison- he's about as upset over the new logo as he was over the Scream Yellow stuff. Is it kickoff time yet?

Lol.....I'm not sure if Mr. HockeyMom will ever let me tailgate at the Old Ralph again...... I think that we should pick one game that a pile if people should try really hard to get to.

$500 for two people is like- one and a half season tickets. If we can get enough people to get the price around $165 I'll be a yes.........but if not, I'm gonna have to bail on you all.

How do you display you are a Sioux fan?
HockeyMom replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
This thread rocks! Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to post right now.......but I will say this: Last winter I was at my brother's house, and I was leaving to go pick up some food and he told me that the Sioux jacket, Sioux choppers and Sioux checkbook cover were too much. I have also been asked by Mr. HockeyMom on more than one occasion to wear something that doesn't have a Sioux logo on it.........mostly funerals and weddings. My favorite Sioux apparel: Sioux scrubs......you should have seen me when I saw them in Scheels..... -
I knew the title would scare me from you're posts and I still wanted to cry when I read it. WOO less than a month 'til football pants season!!!!

That's who I was talking about. Holy Cross had a hell of a season this year.....and they finished in the top 8 in the country. 0 schollies. I don't think that I have bashed the head coach on these boards. I think I've stayed pretty neutral on that one. I just hope that when the season starts, the Sioux are ready to hit the ice and have a decent season.

I'm the only one. As for the whole scholarship issue, you can have NO scholarships and have a team the beats a national powerhouse. I've seen it happen. I don't really think it's a valid excuse. You can have a team of average players-that believe in themselves and each other-a good coach, and you can be successful. I've also been on and seen teams that have a lot of talent that have had conflicts amongst the team/had a coach in over their head and have not been successful.

Music?! They have music at WE Fest? I thought I was just going to drink and eat. Well, I guess it might be more fun with a little music.
