Got ma practice jersey today. I love that it's well-used. It's perfectly broken in and has that hockey smell that I love like a fat kid loves candy. Thanks Forecheck and YaneA for all your work.

The 60 minutes that they put on the clock after the game is the amount of time that the people in the suites have to get out of the building. You can also get in about an hour before the game, and you can enter through the hockey offices.....so you don't have to wait in line and go through the gates.

I'd hate to see the huge woman that would actually be able to pole dance on one of those. I think you can only find them at amazon.com.....

The $500 food and beverage cart won't go very far with a big suite, but they do have alcohol for sale at the suite level. You can get a 12 oz. beer for $2.50 in a glass bottle in several locations. Sioux-cia, I would also recommend getting at least a down payment from everyone that wants to go so that they are committed. We rented a suite with a large group last year and someone who had asked for four seats backed out at the last minute....it can be rather stressful when you are thinking $125-$150 a seat.

The ten person suites are on the corners, and there is a large pole in the middle of the suite. It's tough to talk in there, and gets very crowded when you get more than ten people in one......it's actually crowded with ten people in there. Just FYI.

That's no excuse, an 83 year old woman that started running when she was 57 ran the marathon yesterday. I think the most inspiring thing about being a part of something like this is, that you see people who finished the marathon and the half marathon in all shapes, sizes and ages.

I saw those kids running, they are brutal! I had to laugh because one of them was walking and I cheered for her and she gave me a dirty look and said that she was POOPED and she wasn't running anymore. I think that made my day. Woohoo! We had over 200 runners come through the massage area. My goal next year is to organize the massage team, and run the half marathon......Big goal, but I talked a friend into it today. I love doing something like this and hearing everyone's stories........they're just incredible. I talked to people from Florida, New Orleans and LA today. This event is just an incredible way for people to come to North Dakota and find out how great it really is here. It's a great event, and I'm glad I get to be a part of it.
