  1. Is it Dane Jackson time?
  2. Moot point if we don’t win the nchc tournament title.
  3. Looks like a sweep at home against Omaha would put us back in Omaha for Round 1. God willing.
  4. Shoots wide Shoots wide Shoots wide…. Put the puck on net!
  5. Blake combines his puck-handling and playmaking to great effect. In-tight, he adjusts his puck positioning to hook and slip passes through pressure, and dekes through defenders without entering a glide. He pre-scans before every touch, then creativity connects with teammates through defenders, leads them into space with area passes, and works give-and-goes. He’s an elite.
  6. Gaber has an accurate shot but those two setups were superb. Blake definitely #1 star last night.
  7. Did anyone else notice that after Gaber's OT winner Blake skated away from the celebration? Maybe too much praise heaped on Gaber when Blake did all the work.
  8. So that explains why no movement in the Pairwise this morning. Still #22 with 5% chance of making the national.
  9. Bummer
  10. I know this is a 2-pointer for the NCHC standings, but isn’t this counted as a full win in the Pairwise?
  11. 5% chance of making the nationals isn’t giving me warm fuzzies. It’ll take running out the last six games to get there. Winning the Conferece tournament has even more formidable odds. Yeah it’s time to be talking 2023-24 alright.
  12. So you were glad to see him go?
  13. I wanted two more years of Jake. I hope he made the right move, but only time will tell.
  14. There was no tearing down of Jake. He was a great talent and really disappointing that he was such a short timer. Played maybe the equivalent of a season. As fans, we all wanted to see more of him. You're the one who pivoted. Smart people like Oxbow6 understood my point exactly. You, on the other hand....
  15. "To me the biggest disappointment in recent years has been Jake Sanderson. Came and went. Flash in the pan. Played the equivalent of a season and a half for the Sioux. Got a lot of ink but left no legacy. We don't need any more short timers like that, especially the injury prone type. One and done or two and flew programs don't win championships." Here the original post, stoner. Now tell me again what I really meant? I'll wait. Oxbow6 seemed to comprehend it, but you floated off on some lame azz tangent that tells me you have serious reading comprehension issues.
  16. Absolutely exactly right. Such a great talent who left here with hardly leaving a mark. I enjoyed the hell out of watching him play, albeit a very short period of time. So very unfortunate...and yes, disappointing.
  17. Wrong again Stoner. DM me, I'll send you the name of a reading comprehension tutor I know. No it wasn't. That was EXACTLY my point. I understand UND offers reading comprehension classes. Take 'em up.
  18. I'm talking about all young talented recruits. Pay attention.
  19. If he were my kid, I damn sure would. I guess we just have a difference in values.
  20. Except most don't, and are now selling cars or trying to find a high school coaching job.
  21. LOL. Yeah hundreds of examples out of many many thousands..... And yeah it's possible he could built huge wealth in the NHL if he has a lasting injury-free career. You do understand there's risk there, right? Why not take advantage of a 4-year college degree and mature as an adult in doing so? A kid's brain isn't fully developed until they are 25 or so. They need some adults to assist them until then. Seriously bud, there are a lot of hockey players that regret leaving too soon.
  22. Yup dude, it's all about the Benjamins. A college degree will never get you anywhere in life after getting banged around the NHL for ten years if you're lucky. It's never a bad time to impress upon a kid that it's not all about him, if his parents hadn't already.
