My advice to Sanderson on the Olympics, if offered, is don’t go. It’s China. It’s a communist craphole. Don’t risk your health and hockey career for games we shouldn’t be involved with in the first place. They gave us this pandemic and are unrepentant.

I watched the CC/ASU series on NCHC.TV. It was interesting hearing the announcers talk about both team’s style of play compared to UND. They played a fast breakout style with little physicality, crashing the boards or disruption at center ice. The allusion was clear - neither team will reach the level of UND until they adapt to this style of play. It starts with the coaching and the type of players they recruit. It’s a system. CC and ASU have a long ways to get there. Upper tier teams in the NCHC (MDU, SCSU, DU) have figured this out.

Sioux just moved to #3 in Pairwise thanks to CC knocking off ASU.

The other of their best 4, Gaber, was relentless all weekend, as was Jammer. Helluva coaching job by Berry and staff as well.

Strong effort by the Sioux with arguably 3 of their best 4 players out - Sanderson, Senden and Calder.

I think the Minnescrotum series showed the team’s tenacity Saturday after a lackluster start to the weekend. Disciplining Kleven was a good move. Sent the right message. I hope it was received.
