My take- Merrimack has been riding a hot goalie, winning low scoring games. They block a lot of shots - 2nd in the country. All that means the opposition spends a lot of time in Merrimack's zone, peppering their D. Our speed at moving the puck, screening in front of the net and sniping ability blows all that out the window. They haven't seen that level of constant pressure from four lines in the Big East. We'll beat them with speed, we'll be them on the boards, we'll beat them at center ice, we'll beat them with sharp shooting. UND 5, Merrimack 1

It's interesting (telling) that attendance isn't an issue out west like it is with the east locales. SF and Loveland will be packed barns. They don't need to bring in UMD or other headliners for attendance purposes. Albany and Worchester are struggling, however, and thus the risk of the Committee rearing it's ugly head and doing something really dumb. Hey recruits, take note! Eastern barns are no fun. Come join us out west, where hockey doesn't take a back seat and where our fans appreciate your skills and talents.
