  1. Watkins and LaPoint really stood out to me last night as two guys who had really good games. On the 2 on 1, LaPoint did the job a defenseman is supposed to do, by taking care of the other guy and letting Jean-Phillipe focus on the shooter. JPL made an easy glove save.
  2. Looks like Martens is sitting tonight and Marto is in, moving Genoway up to forward.

  4. Do you have a kid or work with kids poop? 7 year olds tend to be "tattle tales" and you teach them not to do it so much. Also, unless the 7 year old is growing up in the hood, it is a pretty controlled environment for them. What exactly are 7 year olds subjected to in a school environment? Your last post, using the word "tard" shows the level of intellect that your mind is functioning. Congrats though, you're the first person I've ever put on "ignore"! "Geez" is the best part of your post!
  5. The history of the season is that the Sioux have played one good game a weekend and one, not so good a weekend. I'm considering last night the not so good, as the first two periods, they were lousy! Guess the boys have to come out and sweep the Gophers tonight. Would do wonders for their attitude going into the holiday break!
  6. Not there e-mail address but they do give a number you can text messages during the game for questions for them to answer! Could do it that way!
  7. KAPTAIN KAIPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Gophers get a PP out of that. They called Finley, which was a crap penalty. All he did was pulled Wheeler out of the scrum!
  9. Maybe that little scruff will wake our a$$es up!
  10. Anyone else having problems with this site loading really slow? Lousy 1st period for the Sioux. Outshot 15-3. Couple of nice chances for Oshie and Dunc's but other than that, it was slim pickin's. Sioux need to come out in the 2nd frame with their heads on right, and take it to the Gophers. Dunc's should have had his first shot, and Oshie should've had the one that hit the crossbar too. Gophers getting a lot of chances, but JPL has only had to make one really nice save, which was a nice glove save. LET'S GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!
  11. Blaiser takes it to Woog in the Bubble Hockey Clash!!!! One victory for the Sioux!!!!!!
  12. Lines tonight from Brad's Blog. UND's lines 16 Ryan Duncan--29 Chris VandeVelde--7 T.J. 13. Hak pre-game comments: Minnesota's had very good starts. They've played well coming out of the gates. The games they've lost, they haven't been able to keep it up though. We need to come out strong and take it to them. Genoway back tonight. Dynamic player. He's a competitive man, and that may be more important than anything. He's a presence you miss in the line-up. A good possibility that specialty teams will be the difference in this series. We say it every week, but you never know when it's going to come down to that. JPL gave us a great opportunity to win last Friday night, and he came out Saturday and was 1st star of the game for the night. We talk a lot of weekends in a row about defense. You have to have that, as well as good goaltending to win. Both these teams can also get up and move, so it should be a good one.
  14. In the actual game, it looked like Elias was trying to nibble on his ear!!!
  15. Parise ends with a 4 point night, for a total of 32 points on the year, with an assist on the GWG. 2 goals, 2 assists.
  16. Hak full of amusement tonight. Couldn't catch Genoway to put a different color jersey on him; wouldn't want to be in the Oshie house to try to get the last piece of chicken; no contest on the bubble clash! Thanks PCM!
  17. Parise continues to have a hot streak and gets his 2nd goal of the night. 3 point night for him so far. Two years ago, Parise finishes with 32 points on the year (81 games). Playing in his 27th game of the year and he's sitting at 31 points right now.
  18. Parise with a goal and an assist, so far, in tonight's Devils/Bruins game.
  19. Does this game receive coverage under my Sioux Xtra membership??
  20. On the old table hockey game, you could pull your goalie...just don't know where you'd put the extra forward! Also, the metal piece that held the goalie could still make saves too!!
  21. NHL coaches didn't like it either, nor the players for that matter, but now they realize they have a better product for the fans to showcase the players abilities.
  22. Funny how we get in such a good mood after a Sioux VICTORY!!!
  23. One of my favorite episodes! "AS I RAINED BLOWS DOWN ON HIM, I REALIZED...THERE HAD TO BE ANY EASIER WAY!!!"
  24. Look here old man, I don't need any comments from the peanut gallery!
