Parise with an assist so far tonight in the Devils/Wild game. That makes 45 assists, 86 points for Zach thus far this year.

Sioux need to figure out what they're doing out there. Duluth is going to be sound defensively...it's a Sandy team we're talking about. This first period was the last thing we needed. Now Duluth will sit and wait for their moments to strike, while playing tough defense. First goal was a dumb play by BE...second goal should've never got off. Let's go boys!!!

Eidsness should have been higher than 3rd team. He performed in a fashion similar to Bachman last year, but received very little recognition. Of course, with the year Bachman had this season, maybe it's good Brad didn't receive much!

Yeah, I thought of that too the night it happened. I remember someone saying something outlandish in reference to give Malone credit for angling it off the goalie's pad right to Zajac. Yeah, at a high game pace, Malone took the time to think geometrically as to what would be the best angle to shoot the puck so that Zajac gets the best shot possible. That poster made me laugh.

My brother and I were watching it in his basement, so we couldn't see the whole play develop. I remember the shot, and all of a sudden Armbrust comes flying in and ends it. AWESOME!

I'm not buying any of it. People on this board have said the same thing about the last two teams to go into the playoffs and they flopped when it came to the FF. I hope they go far, but I won't be surprised if they don't. My expectations are low for this team, largely due to the last few years. I hope they surprise me.

Morrison was correct. If BU would've played Michigan 10 times that year, Michigan probably would have one 8 or 9 of them. That was a great team. Same as the 1980 US Men's hockey team. We're completely outplayed by the Russians just days before the Olympics, but upset them when it counted. The best team doesn't always win.

If I remember correctly, Armbrust just came onto the ice and charged the net. Another Sioux player shot a hard shot on net, and Pete just happened to be in the right place at the right time...the puck bounced right on his stick, allowing him to shoot it into the open part of the net, sending every Sioux fan into an outrage of joy! That's one of the games I don't have on DVD that I would love to have...anyone have it? AZ?

I didn't expect the team in '97 to win it. I had a little more confidence in the team in '00, but we had lost some talented players from '98 and '99, that I didn't know if we really had the depth, and still don't think we were that deep (thank you Lee Goren, Jason Ulmer, and Ryan Bayda). This team...I'm not really expecting them to make it to the FF, so maybe that's a good thing. I expected a national title from the '04 team...didn't happen. I expected a title from the '07 team...didn't happen. Bottom line, your team has to playing their best hockey during the next month. If our team can do that...we have a shot at getting back to the FF...maybe a shot at winning it. I'm keeping my expectations low. My hopes...well, that's the same as every year!

Yeah, Chico said that same thing during a game about the line believing they can score every shift. Zajac's had an awesome year, and it's almost as if a lot of teams don't take him serious yet, as a threat. He's made it an effort and one of his goals to do better than 50% in winning faceoffs, and he's definitely done better. In the month of February, I think he was at a 62% or something like that. It's just simply a fun line to watch. They have so much energy, and I don't think Langenbrunner wouldn't have that energy if he weren't skating with Parise and Zajac. They're just two guys who are enjoying their youth by playing hockey.

I'll agree except I think UW will beat Denver, and we'll be those stinkin' Badgers!
