UND men's basketball lost to Utah tech. So you think the bottom of a division 2 conference is a better fit Give me a break. Southern Utah use to have good basketball. I'm not saying anyone of those two teams is my first choice but for sure not thinking augie , sioux falls and northern state should join the league. That's just stupid and will never happen

Adding Augie would be the dumbest thing possible. Right now their men's basketball team is 12th in the northern sun and you'd prefer them over a division one school ? Western left on their own to save money with a closer conference not kicked out. The south Dakota schools will never let Augie in. They wanted in when they went with st. Thomas. And yes we do need more then 9 teams

No but unlike the men's basketball team keeping players they made a mistake giving scholarships to. He cuts his losses and moves on for the betterment of the team.... hopefully

Still curious who you think we have a chance of adding? I'm sure you agree we need to add a few teams. I'd rather have better schools myself but I dont think we have alot of options. The two Utah schools would be travel partners. Maybe add northern Colorado?

Wow that's a crazy overhaul ! I totally agree with the 5 staying from last years team. Only one I'm surprised isn't still here is Washington. I thought she had a good freshman year for us. Otherwise I agree that the team needed a total remake. I really want these coaches to succeed so I hope they hit a homerun with this class.

How would it mitigate it? So now we would USD, SDSU, and Augie fans filling the arena. Augie wouldnt even have to travel at all. They wouldnt just take recruits from the South Dakota schools they would take from the North Dakota schools as well and just water down the league down. I would never be for adding any more Dakota schools to the Summit.

I dont see any of the Dakota schools wanting another Dakota school in the summit. Just going to water down the league with competing schools for limited athletes. We need to expand our footprint out the Dakota's for our next schools in my opinion. The Texas schools would be great, but I think they are moving to the Southland?

I hope you are right. But seems like when we come off a big win and go on the road we usually flop. We will see how coach gets them prepared for this one, but past results have not been good.

I believe they are. If Omaha beats ORU Saturday they win outright. I dont know if i think we will cover tonight.

Then you would have to assume NDSU, SDSU and Omaha all kept their stars as well. This is college sports now with the portal. We are no different then the other schools in the summit. Ihenacho has contributed very little to a bad Washington team. I dont know we are at the top of the league still if we kept our stars. Bottom line is Sather hasnt been able to keep up with the other teams in the league.

How many years do you think we should allow him to be here before we look for a change then? Or as long as he wants to carry his 33% win percentage. Would you have a time frame? Or as long as he knows basketball according to Gregg its from here to eternity. I feel at some point a 33% isnt good enough or maybe thats your standard.

Trust me I am smart enough to understand a 33% win percentage doesnt deserve a extension. Your opinion is that Chaves has done a great job as AD, I am smart enough to know that almost every team has gone backwards under his leadership. You are saying because Greg McDermott thinks he is a good coach we should keep him around. Other then the first year he has not won a tournament game. I obviously dont know Greg but I almost Guarantee he doesnt feel a coach with a 33% win percentage after 6 years is doing great. No other big time basketball school would allow this. I am starting to think maybe you are not smart enough to understand this.

So what McDermott thinks of him doesnt matter. I actually doubt McDermott truly thinks he is doing great, but its politically correct to say.
