I quit watching at half time. But thats sad for our future

Watching the girls game tonight and they announced that Winthrop was in town and there would be a game.

Its hard to get excited over this game when Mayville looks like 8th graders out there and they have lost by 40 points to most NAIA schools. I am actually embarrassed we are playing teams like this and pumping our fists. But I get the poetic justice for Aumer, never understood why she wasnt starting all year. I hope this game gives her some confidence.

Im just glad none of those teams are D2 because I dont know that we would be favored. NAIA and. Juco moving to NAIA.

You thought it was a good hire ? I thought it was horrible then and looks like i was right. He inherited a power house Northern team that he just stepped into. Like getting the NDSU football coaching job. After he left with his recruits Northern went down. We need some sort of D1 coaching experience and recruiting. Someone who knows how to use the portal. A up and comer ! And I wont talk about his assistants

Yeah but we play in the Summit... Sdsu beat them by 24. What will they do with us ?

We got him from a team that was worse then us last year and he didn't start for Oral Robert's

Looks like i dont need to watch the rerun of this one. I have said the defense with trapping up front is going to get us blown out with the personnel we have. Let's hope football can make my day better !!

Well the positive they shot better today. We actually out shot them. But how can any team turn the ball over 27 times?? That is crazy and you will never win games like that. Last years team did the same thing, but we had better shooters.

Kind of sad we dont see those experts any more. Tells us they dont even care about the program any more. If they dont fix the coaching this year there will be even less people that care about the program. To many down years and another one looks like ahead of us.

I hope that was a joke I knew it was bad but didnt know it was this bad. His whole offense seems to revolve around taking quick 3s and we are the worst in the nation at it. Probably need a new game plan.

Great come back today. I had written them off when they lost the lead in the second half. I like the fight. We have some good freshman. But our rebounding is horrible and is going to cost in the conference. Still have no clue why Sather didnt go after at least one rebounder in the portal. I am still not sold on this new defense. Against a good team that passes out of it will get easy layups with us having no rim protector .

Watching Xavier tonight get stomped by Iowa. The night before they got beat bad by Santa Clara at home. Mier Panom has not even played a second tonight. I have no idea why he would transfer to a team and not play when he would have been a starter here. Other then money there is no reason. I hope he made the right decision.

Thats why I said not sure its possible but they ran that rotation during the CSUN game and to me was the most productive. Not to mention most fun !

Id like to see Grayson, A3, Eli, Anderson and Jones start. Not sure if thats possible. A3 is my new favorite !

I agree with what you say about out A.D not hiring a D1 coach with experience, but you cant argue his record at Mayville State. You cant blame him for the recruits he got after Mal basically blew up the program and he was left at the end of the season trying to put a team together. This is first off our A.D fault for EVER hiring Mal in the first place. She got one year to prove herself and she did NOT do that and yet he hired her on. Basically because she was a former player. I believe at that time we did have some D1 coaches or assistants that applied. Then after 6 years of her basically destroying the womens program she is still not fired but steps down herself because her entire team basically left her. In comes Hutter to clean it up. The girls for the first time in 6 years that I have watched them actually improved last year from the beginning of the year until the end. I dont believe that was because of Mal but because of Hutter. I am very disappointed with how this year is going and what I am seeing on he court with the women, but I do believe Hutter deserves a shot now to right the ship. Just not as long a leash as Mal had. When will we ever be looking at firing our A.D before he destroys all our teams? Mens basketball, womens basketball and volleyball. If some alumni didnt get involved I believe we would still have Bubba as football coach, nothing to do with our A.D.

Great game? Looked like Sather was trying to run it up on Mayville to save his job. Starters played way to long for a blow out game like that. Let those bench players play to see if they should even be on the team. NDSU beat CSUN by 20 last night. Granted last game of a road trip for CSUN, but still.

Dang the girls look really bad. I knew it could be a tough year but I had thought some of these transfers might be decent. Really hard to watch
