And believed that their play las spring nearly guaranteed a threepeat.

Maybe not the best, but definitely the classier of the two. I like that they play hockey to the best of their abilities. Small, yes, not really physical , correct, but rarely do they not play their hearts out.

For all the games it’s a good deal. If Minnesota thaws out, I’d love to get to the games.

Oh, so now this is considered. This was my point, the one I got hammered for. If the coaches don’t manage things, and the refs don’t manage things, the players will manage things and it always leads to this kind of stuff. Chirping doesn’t get it done so they resort to cheap @ss crap like this. I’ll just sit down now and let the experts carry on about old school, Eddie Shore hockey... carry on...

As a matter of fact, I see a goal was disallowed last night for standing at the top of the crease with no contact after being pushed (lightly) by a defenseman. Hmmmm

I would say the the hard areas include the corners, the low slot, behind the net and never included the goal crease (a protected area) one of them.

Careful, your last point isn’t popular with the “Gods of Sioux Sports” crowd. You’re obviously an objective observer, able to see the game and it’s realities. That reputation you speak of does hurt the team in the end.

Outrage is a pretty strong word for a casual opinion. You gotta be a democrat, put it down Joe, let it rest.

And the reality is that if the refs and coaches don’t manage the play, the players will. And then someone gets hurt and everybody wonders why. That’s why Pionk and Wolfe were my least favorite players, nobody managed them and play has been degraded.

Maybe I wasn’t staring at my phone. Maybe I have a life outside this board?

And, I didn’t respond to ‘every one’ I was talking about the reckless play that will end up costing us dearly...

My take on the hit on Scheel? A slew foot cheap shot deserving of a 3 game suspension. But that wasn’t the topic at the time I responded.

My take? Listening to you guys makes me think that we don’t take stupid penalties. I must be mistaken, one minute we do, the next we’re angels being punished by the one sided refs. BS is right...
