To end January, dominating DU with then also a sweep of WMU in Feb was average. You’re right. Yeah they lost to Omaha and CC but I see that as a matchup/system loss vs playing average. The key is if they can adapt to a given style on the fly which they didn’t show they did in the Frozen face off but the 2-7 record in that game shows it doesn’t seem to mean much to them. Or just impose will and win regardless.

Saying this team mailed it in when, let’s be honest, the three games lost included zero games that actually mattered (minus retaining a 1 seed). They were locked into the tournament when they locked up the Penrose. There’s something to be said for competing (or being complacent) in games that don’t hold much value. Hopefully they flip the switch but we’ll find out Friday night. In a game that really means something.

Gotta admit I’m thrilled of our game time for viewing ease. Sucks for DU fans having to maneuver a Thursday at noon local time game. That sucks.

Imagine what other games could’ve been like if fighting for a home ice regional was on the line. Holy crap that could be great hockey.

This teams yearly resume typically gets them to the tournament that matters. Penrose is more prestigious than this trophy. Prep for national tournament. This doesn’t matter much.

I have a blank green Reebok and FF patch to make up for the banner year. Who do I get? So many options. I already have a white Boeser FF.

Prices are already high. Checking yesterday I think they were $450 for all session when face is MUCH lower. I got 2 for all session less than that.

I see more and more cringeworthy crap from green than other colors. They make it embarrassing to be a fan of the same team.

Pitch forks are going to come after me for this one most likely, but best fans? I see more cringeworthy or embarrassing people/actions/posts from fans green than not. It’s sad. I know the bad ones amplify and give a bad wrap but honestly the further I get into fandom/am around the fan base the less I enjoy/like it. Maybe it’s just me but it’s not a good national reputation from what you see/hear from the outside. I’m a fan but sometimes don’t like being lumped in the group.
