Yeah Nike sizing was weird. It fits me like a 52-54 Reebok or CCM.

Question for some of you aficionados. Need your opinion. I think I know what I’m going to do but just curious what others think. I purchased a team issue 2007-2008 black Nike. Identical to the picture. Has a UND LOA. It’s number 7 but wasn’t game worn just a team issue spare, I can only assume for Oshie. So my question. Would you get Oshie put on the back or leave it nameless and still be true to what it is? Keep in mind the lettering on those styles weren’t straight forward and even EPS couldn’t 100% replicate if I remember a semi recent post on here.

This was a funny read. However the complaints they show on Twitter from own fans are tired, old, used up, etc. If you don’t like the number on the front don’t buy one. Or if you do, pay the money and get a kit put on. It’s not that hard. Pretty sure they promote that you buy it at the game and it can be done before you leave.

When it comes to Adidas, they certainly have their quirks you can find differences in. A lot of what I can tell is those weird dots on the shoulders, otherwise, lettering, but with it blank, that's tough. Here's to hoping it's legit. Any communication from the seller as to how they acquired it?

If that turns out to be a legitimate replica even, thats a steal for $45. I'll be curious to see what the REA shop sells them for. I'm probably in the minority who likes/doesn't mind the number in the middle. We'll have to wait and see what they unveil. I'm from Des Moines, IA. I've been to Denver, Omaha, and Duluth, but want to keep the tradition going with my wife to hit somewhere on the road this year. We'll definitely being going to Minneapolis to see them play the Goofers, luckily they sell beer now, but we're thinking either Kalamazoo or St. Cloud, or even potentially another trip to Denver as my brother lives there. Anyone have good experiences on must see locations? I plan to hit all 7 away buildings, it's just a matter of time despite having no desire to go to Miami. Colorado Springs will have to happen at some point too.

That’s how I’ve found authentic to fit. And comparing the two, prefer it myself. I wouldn’t recommend going for a replica. They’re thin and the “patches” aren’t well done and nothing is sewn on. I think you’re better to keep and learn to love it. They’re great.

I see zero chance they put in a bid (if that's how they're selected). As a DSM resident, hockey, especially college hockey, would have little to no local support. Nobody here would care. Iowa Wild have been here 5+ years and I don't think they've even sold out one game. And thats AHL hockey. They didn't even sell out the NHL preseason game last fall between the Wild and Blues. Maybe I'm a Debbie Downer but I don't ever see Des Moines hosting. Just because the building is here doesn't mean it'd get use. I would love it but it took until 2016 to even get ncaa basketball, let alone hockey. The only benefit is the schedule is slowing down at the Well this time of year.
