The talking during plays was the issue, and UND could/should have been assessed a 15 yard penalty. This is basic stuff, our people should know this, including the person talking/running the feed/SOMEONE. Also, someone kept hitting a clip of the 2001 play by play and sending it over the PA. I think it happened 3 times, 2 for sure.

Boy, what a huge game on the road against SUU. They are an awfully good team, I hope the boys can pull off a win. Stopping Sorenson is the obvious answer. SUU will be ranked around 20th this week I would guess with their blowout of UNLV. GO SIOUX!

What was with the "in game host" chick talking during the gameplay? Several times, she went on and on while the teams were at the line and the plays were going on. Embarrassing, someone needs to fix that.

Again, congrats to the bison, they did the state of ND proud. After reading some of the crap the gopher fans wrote about this matchup, I am glad our brothers to the south beat them. "One fan wrote, NDSU beat us in football 2 times, UND always beats us in hockey, what is going on?" Priceless! UMN-Twin Cities football is a joke that belongs in Division II. No jokes here, that is a legit statement.

I am so jealous that NDSU and the othe dakota schools have had the chance to play the horrible horrible embarrasing team that is UMN Twin Cities, and UND hasn't had that chance. Absolute congrats to the bison, they were without a doubt the superior team.

Because their margin of victory against us was padded by about 21 that were a result of a total meltdown.

It is an AMAZING day for tailgating. You have all afternoon to be out there, then go into the game. Opponent doesn't matter, go to support your hometown team. Canad Inn bars will be hopping I'm sure, if you don't tailgate, sit out on the deck at Tavern United and do some pregaming. Excited to see an ass-whooping tonight. GO SIOUX!

How good is Molberg? Who does he remind you of as far as past college QB's, maybe at UND, or maybe elsewhere? Did he have a shot at playing QB at Iowa, or was it going to be at another position?

Could be, it is just so odd that it happened this week, after these same coaches have been voting for the right school, NDSU, in the previous years when you had a good squad and UND was in the quagmire known as early transition. Also, NDSU received votes in the previous polls this year, UND none. Anyway, I thought this was bison gopher week, you guys have better things to worry about. I think your squad should be considered a slight favorite over an awful gopher team.

Like I said early in this thread, how could UND gain votes by being confused with NDSU? Why this week? It makes no sense. Bison fans, please tell me how it coud have happened, I honestly don't get it.

UND has a new marketing person, I expect to hear a lot about the ranked UND football team this week. Im telling you, the casual fan loves to hear something like this. I just text it to my primarily UND hockey buddy in the cities, and he was impressed.

Not sure about that, why would a mistake happen now? These are coaches, it isn't a fan poll. If anything, I could see NDSU gaining votes if this was truly a mistake, with coaches thinking it was the bison who gave Fresno a scare

Doesn't matter if it is truly warranted, we are a ranked team, another point to emphasize to recruits, and drive the casual fan to the game this Saturday. Congrats to the squad!
