Better camera and better color, but jerky.

YOu don't have the echoing audio? Sounds like TH hollering across a canyon.
-
That's what we're getting so far tonight. Unfortunately the video feed does not match the audio feed.
-
Looks like another one camera broadcast in a poorly lit arena. Would be nice to see the goals Right, a lovely echo tonight.

Guess MTU didn't watch the tapes from last Saturday. If you hang on to Bo's stick, he can't score.

Games already going, why doesn't dataflix surprise me? That ready over and over again is what you get when nothing is going on
-
Anyone have anything on dataflix yet?

Nice to see the emails "could" have some affect. Unbelievable that NJ may get ZP to leave early to avoid the mauling that is allowed to occur on a weekly basis. Not suprised at the email numbers after the UAA series. I've never seen any team attempt what UAA did, much less get away with it. Not even close to Denver's tackling that occured last year, which at the time was the worst I'd seen. Don't look forward to little Shepard and Adam. Is Campion the only hope for a fair officiated game now in the WCHA? A bit surprised at the ACT scores of those coming from SSM. I had the idea that was a prep school of sorts.

Summer, no, from last January, most from last season. No wonder CC is so high

If you click the advanced tab on privacy settings, you can override auto cookie handling and choose how you want to handle first and third party cookies. If you select prompt, you can choose which cookies to "allow" and which to "block". I don't see any reason not to block third party cookies, since that is primarily the ads, so I block all of those to avoid the "prompt" annoyance. For the first party cookies you want to "allow" to save login's, choose "allow" from the prompt when you are logging in (not before), and you'll save the correct cookie. Currently allowing the ss.com cookie will not auto log you into the forum, you have to allow the ip address cookie at login. Unless you've purchased or are using a trial verson of Zone Alarm Pro, you don't have cookie handling (the free version is a firewall only).

Didn't notice that; guess they must have used the original site several weeks ago.

Seems that the international tourneys often give just one assist, although there are enough examples of two assists at this tourney. Have to believe that had that not been the last game of the tournament, it would have been changed. It is, however, as obvious as any second assist that I saw given in any other game. BTW, did anyone note where Stafford got his assist on the Eaves to O'Sullivan pass? Stafford went to the net drawing both dmen leaving that cross ice pass wide open, but I don't believe he touched the puck, unless he made the initial pass to Eaves somewhere back in neutral ice?

Suprising is the POI bunch almost to a poster has CC finishing first or second, after getting swept by MN and UAA. I'll have to check out how to get CC to first place. Would guess they can't lose more than a game or two the rest of the way.
-
And that was the second UAA man in; he dragged a UAA player who had him wrapped up from the corner to behind the net, where he was picked up and thrown down. He got back up and the second guy took over with the high stick and second take down. It was about 15-20 seconds of ride time total, with Mason watching, before the whistle was blown. Unbelievable, and just a glimpse of what went on all weekend.

The 8 D3 teams that play D1 hockey will keep their hockey scholarships. http://www.uscho.com

Didn't show the times on TV, but they said Smaby's time expired before the UAA goal, making it a 5 x 4 goal.
-
I think you may want to change on the bus
-
Looked to me that Fournier needs a different color. He looked rather squat in the UAA garb. Whoops, that's right, he's rather squat in any attire
-
Agreed, although the players with the best chances Saturday were none other than Murray and Parise, in spite of the anchors they were forced to drag along behind them.

I think it will ultimately be NJ that decides when they want ZP to come, and hopefully, the CBA and pending lockout will prevent that from happening for at least one more season. Maybe NJ thinks this is good experience dragging people around the ice. It certainly builds endurance. It's a shame that we may never see the total ZP game until he plays in the NHL. The WCHA crew is rapidly turning college hockey into a joke. BTW, we have it on good authority (Suze) that UAA does not play clutch and grab. I don't disagree, what we saw this weekend was so far beyond clutch and grab that it needs a new name, clutch and grab doesn't come close to describing it. I find it almost impossible to believe that Shepard, when meeting with Mason to critique the performance this weekend, would label it a good job. On the other hand, looking at all the complaining from the CC/Gopher series, it's apparent that teams are starting to clutch and grab. If it's allowed over and over, it will only continue to get worse. Wonder if Michigan Tech has learned to do it yet?

Yes, believe so.

Heard that also on the Friday post game, but on the TV broadcast they had Prpich out with an injury?

What a show Murray and Parise put on last night. Can't believe those two small guys carried around UAA players for 6 periods and created all those scoring chances, especially last night. I'd say noone from UAA could carry their jocks, but UAA players probably took home their jocks, along with their sticks, breezers, jerseys, shoulder pads, and any other equipment they could "grab" this weekend. This weekend was the ultimate in holding, I've never seen a hockey game at any level played quite this way.
-
Scary, isn't it, that not until ZP is with NJ will he be able to skate without carrying someone.
-
I thought Denver's tackling of select players (Parise) last year was bad, but this was totally outrageous. UAA didn't target any particular player, they just wrapped up and held anyone close to the net, and were allowed to do it, constantly both games. Way beyond the normal clutch and grab. Is this how UAA was able to beat MN and sweep CC? It appears UAA is a terrible team, but can't tell from this weekend. What they did hardly requires sticks. Wonder if this is how they beat MN and swept CC? They best have their games at home, where noone has to watch, other than UAA fans. League parity created by officiating, an interesting concept Very good series by ZP and Murray, they dragged opponents around all weekend and created all kinds of good chances, especially tonight. How many breakaways did Murray have? at least 3. ZP must have had 3-5 good chance in close also. Seldom are they not going to come away with points with those chances. When UAA plays SCSU next weekend, who decides to hold whom? Could be an interesting dance.
