Salmon Arm has won their last two games, and are now 2-2. Duncan has been out with a concussion since game 1, but has not been added to the BCHL injured reserve list. He may be back by next weekend.

Parise has been assigned to Albany, as has David Hale, and last I saw Bochenski was likely going to be at Binghampton, so yes, probably both will be in the AHL this fall.

Does ticketmaster run REA box office sales also? Are all the extra charges (convenience, building, etc) that are charged online also charged if one goes to the REA for tickets? Just a question for the future, I've already been dinged by ticketmaster for this year. Also noted there are ticketmaster outlets around GF, as well as a ticketmaster phone. Do these also add on all the charges that are added online?

One of the Ludwig boys is listed as the #14 dmen (Providence). Wonder if the Sioux had these boys on the radar? Sioux obviously had a full load of dmen coming back this year, but next year dmen will be needed.

Believe the Denver games on FSRM are home games only, and the Sioux don't go to Denver this year.

Yes, just don't turn up your speakers and blow everyone away. No xrated pics or anything like that.

A sad ending following a good WC. If this eliminates the entire season, there will likely be little money/interest left in the US when it returns. Players and owners will both have to make what they can in Canada.

Questions from a Gopher fan heading to NoDak!

That would be the only good sub-like sandwich you've ever eaten. Tastes as good coming back up through your nose as it does going down conventionally Order the 4 pack ahead of time and enjoy all the way to GF. I'm partial to salami with taco meat and colby cheese, xtra mayo, xtra hot. -
Good to hear; maybe we can expect it to be up and running for the remainder of the football season and the entire hockey season.

It's good when it works well. Seemed they had the bugs worked out last season and many who paid for it got good results. There have been lots of problems with it starting out this year, however.

Don't look now, but NDSU, this year, changed their internet audio to a "pay for" service. Of course they are D1

You had to be around the football forum the previous three weekends to see what was going on. The information in my first post in that thread was copied from an email from the UND Alumni organization. There was no statement or any other kind of information out of the athletic dept concerning the audio up to last weekend (other than what they told the UND Alumni). Here is the recent release (yesterday) from the athletic department after an email campaign helped them make their decision to offer it again. The technical difficulties were: 1. Not hooking it up at all for the first two football weekends. 2. Hooking it up but streaming the wrong station last weekend. I think that we can now hope that the audio will be working by the time hockey starts, and maybe even by (holding breath) the next football game.

Although there appears to be tickets available for all other series, including Wisco, in the upper level corners (Goph tickets no longer available). And it appears you can get up to 50 tickets at a time on ticketmaster.

Never had a problem with streaming audio on dialup, except during the first couple years access was limited, and once capacity was reached noone else got in, not matter how they connected. Of course, dataflix has often had problems no matter what the user had at his end; 1mb download speed doesn't do the trick at times. Currently, with the athletic depts. original consideration to drop internet audio entirely, didn't matter what you have (obviously). Now that it will be offered, they just need to stream the right radio station (Sat. afternoon KFAN Formual 1 talk show is not what I expected when I clicked the football link).

Nice comments (and concerns ) for Duncan's first game. Noticed he didn't play the second game and wondered why. The Silverback message board is totally quiet about the first two games. Giving up that many goals will do that, I guess, as they got swept and the point leader in the league after two game is a Merrit winger who had 10 points (in 2 games) vs the Silverbacks. Where, by the way, did you find a BCHL message board? I couldn't locate one this weekend.

Appeared they were down most of the weekend. Looks to be working again today.

Until Friday night the athletic dept had apparently decided not to offer internet audio for Sioux sports. An email campaign changed their minds, but they linked to the wrong radio station yesterday and those of us trying to listen to the football game got KFAN talk shows out of the Twin Cities instead. Possibly everything will be "fixed" and working by the the time hockey starts, but don't hold you breath. The person who ran the audio last year left the dept, and a new person has to be trained.

Rubbin' their nose in it, according to CW announcers.
