Good defense can be played without resorting to holding and tackling. The way the WCHA calls games now, the better open ice tackling team usually wins.

Tried to kick it with right skate to stick, but totally missed it; the puck went in as a result of deflecting off his left skate, no kicking motion involved . It was clearly the wrong call.

Their restraint was impressive, especially given the cheap shots from BC right to the end. First time I've seen the winning team go from scoring at will to all out cheap shots, I was hoping the Sioux would respond at the time, but in retrospect I'm glad they held their cool.

No doubt, Lammy saved this team's butt over and over again this year, and that became even more apparent in the recent several weeks, no more than the 2 games in the Kohl regional. He always gave them the chance to win, and they usually did. Finally, he matched the performance of the Sioux team yesterday, for the first time all year.

Haven't seen non-deflected 5 hole goals given up by Lammy all year, yet 3 of them in that period alone. Feels much like the last few years when Parise and Lammy went into the FF hot, but couldn't keep anything out of the net vs. BC.

I have a 46" widescreen, and use the dishnetwork Picture & Picture (dual tuner receiver) to watch two stations side by side on one screen; both good sized with the big screen.

Surprised a non-WCHA official called the game that way; it bodes well for either Denver or Wisco if they get a game called that way. Sioux should be used to it, after a whole season with the WCHA crew.

Serratorre and AF got their fill of little Shep in OT; put them in the pbox but refused to make a call on Miami; what a total crap job of officiating.

Unreal that one person got all four games correct.
