Fox Sports Net will have the game
-
SERIOUSLY pissed here Since I don't have Dish, Direct or cable I figured I'd check my StarChoice system for the games. After all, they have the NHL Network So I check the schedule. They do have some games taped delayed, but there is their schedule (times are Eastern) Friday 4:00PM-NorthEast #1 7:00PM-NorthEast #2 Saturday 2:00AM-West #1 12:00PM-East #1 2:30PM-Midwest #1 6:00PM-NorthEast Final Sunday 2:00AM-West Final 11:00AM-East #2 1:30PM-East Final 4:30PM-Midwest Final Notice something missing? Yes, I miss two games. One is the 2nd MW game which is CC so I don't care but....THEY ARE NOT SHOWING THE SIOUX GAME NOT EVEN ON TAPE DELAY They are showing the Goofers on TD.....Come on NHL Network....how many times can you show "NHL on the Fly Final" (think Sportscenter) overnight....SHOW THE GAME

FSN Rocky Mountain has it same with FSN North
-
I don't know about "thrusday" night but I know Thursday night's game is televised (as are all 5 games) GO DOGS! GO SIOUX!
-
yeah the signal isnt as high as normal due to the weather in Mpls it should hold up
-
another transponder is 11780 H 29000 but on that one, make sure to scan "ALL" Also the ABC one given above is on all day too
-
Sioux by 2 (ENG at end)
-
not necessarily Since ESPN owns the rights, they probbaly wont use Mazooker. All FSN is doing is picking the game up (as other stations wil to) and showing it. They have to use whatever announcers ESPN uses. Think of the time when the Sioux played UMD in Duluth and FSSN used the feed from WDIO with their announcers. Thats what it will be like -ESPN graphics -ESPN announcers
-
It probably will be on FSN North here in the Cities EDIT: check FSN's site and can only go until the 24th but they are carrying games on that day so they SHUOLD be carrying the West games too
-
NC$$ owns the rights. Now with that ESPNU channel they decide to hold all the rights. There MAY be an option for the local team to pick up a broadcast. Last year there were lots of different channels picking up various games but with ESPNU in the mix, that may not be the case and ESPN may say "screw it...we get ALL the games". Hopefully they allow WDAZ (hell even the FSSN) to pick up the feed for the Sioux games. EDIT: there may be a god. Checked ESPNU's schedule and it shows Sat., March 25 Men's Ice Hockey West Regional SF No. 1 2:30 p.m. ESPNU and ESPN Synd Sat., March 25 Men's Ice Hockey West Regional SF No. 2 5:30 p.m. ESPN Synd The key is ESPN Synd....which means they will allow local stations to pick it up....

last weekend of the Fighting Sioux Sports Network for the season
-
Its wonderlic time again If the first two statements are correct, is the 3rd statement correct? -All Sioux home games are televised on the Fighting Sioux Sports Network -The Sioux are at home this weekend -The Sioux game will be on the Fighting Sioux Sports Network
-
no you dont have to be bald
-
There was some issues Friday night. I know at the beginning of period 2, Puckhead apologized for the issues and that some cable companies didnt see all of the 1st period. I had a little pixelation but that was it. There are a couple channels on the same satellite. If you dont have them programmed in, do a blind scan and scan "all". There are about 6 test cards that shuld come in fine. If those are working fine, then it was the Sioux feed.
-
sweet I'll be ready at 6:30 when the WDIO feed pops up for UMD/UMTC Hate to say it but who needs sensers when you have 5 dishes and about 8 Free to air receivers
-
I'll be watching it at Casa du Iceberg -one TV with UND/Mi Tech on it -One with UMD/UMTC on it -one with Wisco/SCCC (if I can find the feed)
-
lets make this like a Wonderlic question (hopefully Vince Young answers it right) If the first two statements are correct, is the 3rd statement correct? -All Sioux home games are televised on the Fighting Siuox Sports Network -The Sioux are at home this weekend -The Sioux game will be on the Fighting Sioux Sports Network

Cheaters...I LOVE that show

Its not that. Its the fact that when they do road games, it costs MUCH more -they need to fly (or have them drive) to the site -they have to run the truck to the site (for satellite uplink) -they have to pay to beam it back to Grand Forks..that aint cheap -if they cant share a feed, they need their cameras and equipment so for a road game, they have to pay for TWO uplinks (one from the venue to the Ralph and then the normal FSSN send out) Other than the Yankees of college hockey (Goofers) nobody else has a huge TV schedule. As an example, when UMD does road games, there is an agreement to use each others feeds. So when UMD televised last Saturday's game it was the same feed as the FSSN game EXCEPT -it was UMD announcers -during commerical breaks, they showed the crowd (that was the live feed..the local feed went to commercials) Heck it even had the Sioux graphic in the corner for the score. That is what WDAZ was going to do for the Saturday Duluth game in Duluth...use WDIO (Duluth station) feed and have Sweeney do PBP for the FSSN feed but then they did the FB game so they just used the WDIO feed with their announcers.

Call sensers in Bloomington..I think thats where "cheesemover" is located
-
correct Businesses have different rules
-
here is cheesemover (Senser's guy) response in "Sioux on Satellite" thread No FTA available, I heard from a very reliable source that it was going to be a scrambled feed via Digital satellite from FSN RM to FSSN for local viewing/transmission only. so it does suck..really wanted to watch these games.
