Tough situation for UND. As much as I hate to say it, for its level(FCS) NDSU is premiere program in football. A tough measuring stick for us. Let’s see what happens next Saturday vs a good opponent before getting to dramatic about the state of UND football program.
First time I was involved in this game it meant little, I was from 700 miles away. It's about the fans and past players. It's not like the players pull out some super powers because the opponent is a rival.
Freund O gets us that extra TD in the games we need it.

10-1 - Home playoff seed
Here we go!
For all the crap we give Bubba on here about recruiting, etc, nice job on getting this guy.
Looking for big things from Larson, Rodgers, Turner, Lawrence, Haas and the rest of the LB. Defense should be fun to watch this season.
I have to say going through the weights on the roster, I have a lot of questions. Maybe the OL is by design, but far too many guys are not putting on weight.
Some actual football talk.

I am beating a dead horse, but add ONE frickin' offensive TD in each game last fall and we finish 9-2(NAU would have been far different game, going in 9-1) and are a top seed in the playoff and who knows how far that team goes.
Defense was ranked 26th in FCS. How high if it not out on the field the entire second half of games later in the season.
