Connely will graduate before Murray arrives.

I learned some interesting things on BCHL website. Here are the players that have come from UND from the BCHL (This is missing some of the more recent ones). I didn't realize how extensive the Penticton was (add Trupp and Hextall). Also if you look at the last 2 players from Penticton, I think you get a feel for what Hextall will be like. Also Trupp is up to 6 goals in just 8 games. That is a hell of a start! Also Derrick LaPoint is tied for 8th in USHL scoring. He is with a ton of Forwards. Brett Bruneteau is tied for 33rd and Brad Malone is tied for 57th. All 3 are plaing for Mediocre teams.

Yup, Murray to Red... Way to throw your life away kid... Just Kidding, I wish you the best of luck but no W's against the Sioux.

Why do you hate America?

Thanks for the updates 31-9. It's just to bad it takes a few felonies to pull you out of the background...
-
Either way I have alot of respect for his brother and would love to see him at UND.

http://www.okotoksoilers.com/players.cfm?p...amp;playerid=16 David Civiterese is a big RW and looks to be an 08 or 09. FYI, I see that OKotoks is Holy Cross recruiting territory...
-
Depends how badly he was beaten... Isn't rumor mongering fun?
-
I asked him when he was going to bulk up and hit someone...

Any have a better link. That site isn't working worth a $hit.

Honestly, given his size its probably college or maybe Europe somewhere. My guess is that as an 09 he would be welcomed with open arms, but as an 08 there might not be room. I have to assume that first choice for 08 of the players we don't have committed would be Toews.

Are you asking us or telling us that they do?

Based on my best guess. It would appear the Sioux may be done recruiting for awhile. There are always unexpected defections (Sparky) but I think the Sioux now have plenty of player for 2007 and 1-3 of the possible 2007s will wait until 2008 depending on who leaves. I have TJ and JT as givens. If those 2 are the only ones to leave I think we have 15 forwards for 2007 and 16 for 2008. I think we will have 7-8 D for 2007 and 2008 is a wildcard with Lee/Chorney/Finley, but I think we will have 5-6 D then. We have 3 goalies for 2007 and 2 for 2008. So I think: 2007 Class is done: 1 of the Bretts will wait for 2008 Ben Blood is likely a 2008 2008 Class: May still need 1 defender. Expect 1 Goalie 2009 Class: 5-6 Forwards 2-3 Defense 1 Goalie My guess is that the Sioux will persue some of the best 2008s with the understanding they may play a year of juniors, but I don't expect any new announcements soon. Any insiders?

If I say 2+2=4 and a 17 y.o. sucks and should be cut from the team. I wouldn't be half right, I'd be an idiot.

Obviously not the best of seasons for the Vikes (yet still in the playoff hunt), but I thought I would see if anyone was interested in seeing a game or maybe taking their kid to a game. I have two tickets in Row 4 section 227. These are some of the best seats in the dome for watching the game. The seats are sideline near the south end-zone. I will sell my seats at face value $96 per ticket (thats $192 total for those of you that went to SCCC). PM me if you have any questions.

No you need to write a letter...
-
That's really funny since there is no 3rd place game anymore...
-
If your slamming ANY underclassman and saying they need to be cut, you are a fool. That's not to say they can't be slammed for poor play, but Failure or Mistake should be saved for upperclassmen only. And we seldom ever see that at UND... We have high expectations, but in college hockey upperclassmen rule the game. When you get a star freshman of soph, just enjoy it.

You can tell how accurate what the NCAA is doing is by comparing the results vs. KRACH. KRACH rules, it removes idiots and East Coast sympothisers (sp? idiot?) from the equation.
-
I'll further defend Chris. He wasn't taking shots at us, but rather stating the very true fact that, at that point we did not have many big name recruits 2007+. Take it as an observation. Since then, the situation has been very successfully resolved, as UND fans should expect.

My guess is that Hextall might play similar to Mike Prpich. One thing for sure, you wont want to do anything cheap if both Jones and Hextall are on the ice...

Dear Ben, Lets talk about this before you do something foolish... Sure she looks good after you've had one too many, but reality will hit in the morning... SCCC? Say it ain't so. Your better than that. Sure the atmosphere was great against the Gophers, and it might be for an NCAA victory, too. We don't know, THEY HAVE NEVER HAD ONE! They have big ice, it makes for an exciting game. Is speed and tempo your game? Will you ever score 20 goals in a season? Do you want to be able to show NHL teams how good of a defender you are? Lets talk about UND. I think that it is fair to say that no school in NCAA history has ever had a run of turning out NHL defensmen like UND has had recently. Not only D-men, but big bruising NHL ready (or close) Defensman. Lets review: David Hale Mike Commadore Matt Jones Matt Greene Andy Schnieder Matt Smaby and soon Brian Lee Taylor Chorney Joe Finley Derrick LaPoint maybe even Zach Jones and Kyle Radke WOW!!! Imagine how good you could be give UNDs Tradition, Facilities, and Coaching! And you get to play for Championships almost every year, as opposed to, well, almost never... If your goal is to play in the NHL, UND is for you. Just be careful around SCCC, you might catch something. Racism, for example... We hope to hear from you soon! BTW, give our regards to Toews and Murray...
