  1. Objectively, Pemberton was 1st in scoring with a .529 FG%, 1st in total rebounds, 3rd in assists, 2nd in blocks, and 2nd in steals. Nobody compared Pemberton to Clark. The poster brought up the amount of Clark's turnovers per game indicating a leading scorer will probably be high in turnovers. I wasn't aware Pemberton was the point guard. 2019-2020- Fleecs had 0.6 assists per game, 2028-2019- Klabo had 1.3 assists per game, 2017-2018 - Freije had 1.3 assists per game, and 2016-2017- Freije had 1.3 assist per game. You should be happy, she is transferring. I am sure wbb will be at 20 wins next year.
  2. The point was a leading scorer will probably have a lot of turnovers. They will also be a focal point of the opposing team's defensive game plan. The poster was not saying Pemberton was on the same level as Clark. As for assists per game, Schiller was at 2.9 and Pemberton was at 1.2. Schiller was at 3.1 turnovers per game.
  3. 24-25 Pemberton-517 points/115 TO, 23-24 Borowicz-568 points/132 TO, 22-23 Borowicz- 674 points/138 TO, 17-18 Freije 342 points/ 86 TO, 15-16 Dyer 389 points/104 TO, 12-13 Buck 309 points/73 TO, and 10-11 Youngblut 432 points/94 TO. Klabo and Freije had 1.3 and 1.7 assists per game in 17-18. Borowicz had 46 steals last year. Pemberton had 36 this year. Schiller had 40 this year.
  4. If he is a systems coach, he will need to hit the portal hard for players that fit his scheme. Or will he be a coach that adapts the scheme to the players he has. We will see what happens.
  5. Below is a perspective on the hardest position to plug and play through the portal. The discussion begans @ 1:06:57 and runs to 1:10:00. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRlOLp3K93Q&list=PLArf0b7pSrNsgmwLRMkmVl72GM18doX4r&index=1 Coach Schmidt went to a 4-2-5 scheme from a 3-3-5 scheme SDSU had run for years.
  6. Luke would be an interesting candidate. He probably has broader FCS perspective than any others that have been mentioned. He maybe has insight on how SDSU turned things around with Stig. How SDSU went about trying to surpass NDSU. He probably has insight on how the MVFC and Big Sky has evolved. What is the approach at Idaho? How is it different or the same from the other programs he has been apart of. How has he evolved or adapted during his journey.
  7. SDSU, NDSU, Montana State, and Idaho Head Coaches have no previous head coaching experience. Nielson was around 57 when he took over at USD. Is Chaves making the hire or is it going through a committee?
  8. Bemidji State vs Mankato St. @ Mankato Saturday.
  9. You need someone to keep operations including recruitment going until decision is announced. Happens all the time.

  14. it's all good, I knew what you were saying. I agree she has shown she has D1 talent and would have been an asset with another D! program had she chosen that route. My remarks were directed at the situation in general whether football, hockey, etc.
  15. Basketball or whatever sport an athlete participates in is just one part of their lives. There may be multiple factors regarding the decision to transfer besides their sport. I will wish the athlete the best on their future endeavors.
  16. Megan Zander to Mary.
  17. Filip Rebraca decision soon https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiA_OGJn47wAhX1dc0KHRt9DacQxfQBMAJ6BAgREAk&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hawkeyenation.com%2Fnews%2Fbasketball%2Ffilip-rebraca-decision-coming-soon-iowa-basketball-well-positioned%2Farticle_77c5bcd0-a20a-11eb-b9c2-b7ab70253840.html&usg=AOvVaw32jCE7Zlbinjqp8KwEpMPi
  18. Minot State will play in ACHA D1 finals. Mary will play in ACHA D2 finals. Minot State women lost in semi-finals.
  19. Preston Ruedinger to Valparaiso.
  20. I believe most of the transfers will be lateral as is indicated by the stats on the WBB blog. The group I see gaining the most out of the transfer rule is AAU, elite camps, recruiting blogs, etc. as they can be continue to be representatives of players after they commit from high school.
  21. Brendan Howard was GNAC Freshman of the Year 2019 and All-GNAC 2nd team as a sophmore. 2 time Montana Gatorade Player of the Year. MSU-Billings didn't play this past season. https://www.montanasports.com/college-sports/msu-bs-brendan-howard-seeks-grad-transfer-opportunity
  22. Adam Jacobson @CoachJake_NDSCS Great to see our own Ambah Kowcun as a Finalist for NJCAA Div. 1 National Freshman of the year! Ambah is no doubt the best shooter in the country and one the best scorers! Excited to have her back next year! #GoCats #WorldExposureReportAwards Quote Tweet World Exposure Report WBB @WorldExposureWB ยท Apr 13 Six Finalists named for 2021 World Exposure Report NJCAA Div. 1 Freshman of the Year #njcaawbb #WorldExposureReportAwards https://worldexposurereport.com/news_article/s
  23. Interesting Rebekah Dallinger tidbit, she played with Shyla Heal on NSW Metro Under 18 team. Shyla is the daughter of former TWolve, Shane "The Hammer" Heal and was #8 pick in WNBA draft. She had 37 points, 17 rebounds in Region 13 Championship game. Hope UND has at least inquired about her. https://www.montanasports.com/college-sports/juco/mcc-women-blow-out-dawson-to-claim-region-13-championship-advance-to-national-tournament
  24. I wonder if the coaches keep an eye on the Mon-Dak Conference for recruiting. Rebekah Dallinger (Miles City} was NJCAA D1 national leader in scoring at 25.3 points per game. Ambah Kowcun (NDSCS) was 3rd at 23.2 points per game. Both are Aussies, Freshman, and shot over 40% from 3. Dallinger: 6.9 r/g, 5.1 a/g, 2.9 s/g Kowcun: 5.2 r/g, 2.9 a/g, 1.8 s/g
  25. UND has 6 players at 5' 10" or above on the roster currently going into next year. The 3 incoming freshman and 1 transfer for next year are 5' 10" or above. 3 from the roster are below 5' 10" not including Keplin. Forgot about Sieben, so that would be 4 below 5' 10".
