  1. http://nahl.com/news/story.cfm?id=29801 Not sure were this fits in the forum but KC Scouts (Via Topeka & Tomek) inaugural NAHL team is second in the NAHL to opt out of the season due to COVID. Hopefully not a sign of the future for other hockey situations.
  2. Please add to any of your own Social media. Al has been such an ambassador for Sioux/Hawks hockey - I wouldn’t have known unless I clicked on the link - thank you for sharing gfNDfan
  3. That was through a link on the original hotel confirmation to change or cancel the reservation from 11-20-2019 via the official housing service for the event. When I clicked on the link to cancel - I received this response with a cancellation confirmation & the message.
  4. Received this email after I cancelled my hotel reservation.
  5. Anything with these 2! Jim Archibald Ian Kidd
  6. I don’t see a trademark (TM) anywhere on that beautiful Sioux Head as well - generally a tell tale sign
  7. Anybody with the game on tv willing to help the rest of us out - I’ve used the periscope app in the past - just use heading fighting Sioux just get app & zoom in on tv W/ sound turned up just an idea
  8. I was a little nervous when I read GF Herald this am: Michael St. Croix, the son of Winnipeg Jets/Manitoba Moose goalie coach Rick St. Croix, is on the team. If you remember, Michael was a highly coveted prospect during his junior years. He played on the Winnipeg Wild midget team with Brendan O’Donnell and I’m sure UND was after him. Everyone was. St. Croix was the No. 4 overall pick in the WHL draft, though, and opted not to go the NCAA route St. Croix had a big junior career in the WHL and was drafted in the fourth round by the New York Rangers, but mainly played in the ECHL after aging out of juniors. He did ink a contract with the Rangers. Another name that pops out is Zach Franko, who was teammates with St. Croix and O’Donnell on that Winnipeg Wild squad. Franko committed to Bemidji State, but pulled out to go major junior. The third name that jumps out is Blake Heinrich. He was committed to Minnesota Duluth and would still be on the team had he not jumped ship for major juniors. Heinrich was fifth-round pick of the Washington Capitals, but the Caps didn’t sign him. BUT.... the boys looked OK
  9. Just asking since I’ve seen him play when he was a Topeka Roadrunner - Gornall? Is he hurt or piss off Bubs again?
  10. https://www.nhl.com/flyers/news/rosters-announced-for-split-squad-game--philadelphia-flyers/c-291198750 Are we sure it’s Tomek - this is all I could find as far as today’s rosters go for split squad games
  11. Congrats to all the boys who will be picking up degrees this weekend - but a special stick tap to Zane for completing his psychology degree while bouncing around between the AHL & making his NHL debut this year - can't believe that's an easy accomplishment. Good Job!
  12. Congrats Jordan on his first NHL point on an assist to the Blues first goal By Reaves.
  13. It appears Ryan Anderson has embraced the new logo - very subtly though.
