  8. hf thrashers top 20 prospects http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9848...op20_prospects/ 18. (15) Michael Forney, LW, 19 3rd round, 80th overall, 2006 A highly successful high school player, Forney saw very little ice time as a freshman for the University of North Dakota, getting into less than half of the team's games. It was a lineup that needed scoring and he is supposed to have the talent to do so. He scored just two assists in 16 games. He did have some shoulder issues, which led to him having surgery at the beginning of the offseason. Forney, who did come in as a true freshman, will need to step up in a big way as a sophomore. He is still very young at 19. 20. (20) Andrew Kozek, F, 21 2nd round, 53rd overall, 2005 Typically NCAA prospects show a jump in production in their sophomore year, but it didn't materialize for Kozek. The 21-year-old had just five goals and six assists in 41 games for North Dakota last year, a scoring rate slightly down from 2005-06. The 5'11, 185-pounder played often on a checking line, which is not his strength, but his play didn't earn him scoring line minutes. Kozek has some talent, but his game is very uneven. He has good velocity on his shot, but doesn

  17. it may help for middle of the run mid round draft picks players sticking around if thats what you meant, not the 1-3rd rounders for sure, they will leave when ready or when they want to. im sure he improved his contract and would assume he didnt sign with chicago maye because of better money or a comnination of money/getting a shot at the show!!
  18. nothing really on campus, just some close by , take a hotel shuttle, rent a car or cab, whatever, they arent far but you need some sort of a ride
  19. good for chris!! now go show EJ how to stop a wrap around
  20. drop the puck , drop the puck, drop the puck
  21. chicago didnt sign him as they owned his rights for 5 years or so, so hes not going there or it would be done already... pitt would be interesting but st louis i will guess he has the best shot in the future to crack the show!
  22. sports are a different animal than the real world, way different im confident hak will get signed soon!!
  23. this is a getting good
  24. good spot for him if so, he will be a solid AHL player with a shot to play in the show down the road maybe in camp he can re live the denver moment with erik johnson
  25. i would say maybe head coaches in sports are a bit different in college or pro when it comes to what you mentioned above, just seems to be the norm these days with the big time money coaches make i dont care when hes signed, tomorrow or end of the year, just so its going to happen!
