Bowen knocks a stick out of a Gopher players hand=slashing.
Lindgren two hands Gardner after the whistle=nothing.
Kudos to Rhett for skating away, I also thought the penalty on him was B.S.
I'm only 37 so I grew up with Nintendo. Blades of Steel was the first hockey game I owned as a kid. When their was a fight in that game only the loser went to the penalty box.
Based on how he played at Denver I would still sign him. That way you could trade him for another asset if you didn't like him. Would be best to always keep your mouth shut when it comes to how you feel about a player so as not to lower whatever trade value they may have.
I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't bring him in just for a look. It's not like they have so much talent that it would've been a waste of time to bring the kid in.
Will Butcher, who the Avalanche didn't want, has 8 assists in 5 games with the Devils. I'm wishing the Wild would've picked him up. Don't know if they tried to sign him or not.
Of course for all sports they have ideal sizes for certain positions. Also their are players who are exceptions to the rule when it comes to this. Do we have any guys that might be the exception to the rules when it comes to certain measurable physical characteristics.
Injuries are going to happen, as they always do. With the players on this year's team an injured player should be afforded the oppurtunity to recover as opposed to coming back a little early and playing with a nagging injury. As we've seen with the football team, you can never have too much depth.
