I understood why you brought it up earlier I didn't mean it as anything against what you said. I wholeheartedly agree with your above statement about the 4x4 as well. As I had said previously they have to change the way they call the game in order to change the way it's played.

Cberkas said the same thing. Although I understand the reasoning I can't get on board. Even my eight year old knows the difference between goof hockey and UND hockey. My son had a game yesterday where he fell head first in to the boards and I admit I was worried. He popped back up and kept going, like a lot of these little guys do. When I asked him about it after he said "I wasn't hurt so I kept going." I love watching how resilient all these little guys are and would hate to see them copying the diving brand of hockey.

If Smith's hit was a major, Paukovich should've got a lifetime ban.

If it goes from some doing it to everyone doing it that's the nightmare.

If it continues to get worse it may make hockey hard to watch.

I hear a lot of talk about taking diving out of the game, but I've seen nothing that makes me think they're taking it seriously. Even on the rare occasion they call diving they're taking two to the box and not just one. They need to change the way the game is called in order to change the way the game is played.

The fact a player got injured should not turn an obvious 2 in to a 5 in any league at any level. This is why players pretend they got shot and lay on the ice all the time.

I've been wondering the same thing for a while now.

Prior to this season they had been making steady progress in the right direction. No one is happy with how the season went, but considering where we were at when Bubba got here I'm trying to reserve judgement until next season. I'm hoping they can right the ship, but we'll see what happens.

It's got to be hard for the coaches as well with some of the things going on off the field. Some of the bad behavior from certain guys might make it hard to have everyone's back.
