I too was hoping to watch the Minn/Denver game on TV tonight with a warm blanket and watch the blizzard come on in. Oh well.

Was it cut, or did it just pop? I watched it on TV, and I thought it just popped.

I don't have that answer. But I noticed that UND had only 2 goalies dressed for the game. Normally, doesn't the home team have 3 dressed?

Fortunately for My Wife and Myself, we were able to attend the game last night, which was the first one in quite some time! Two boys under 4 will do that to your schedule - Thank God for Grandma's! A couple of questions: 1. Does any one know who the player that was shown in the intro video at the very beginning? I told my wife that I was almost positive it was JToews as I knew he was in GF for the game. But others I talked to thought it was a current player. 2. Also, during the 2nd period, Watkins had a breakaway, and 2 Seawolves where hooking him from behind. BUT he got the shot away, and he motioned it was a goal, and I was positive it was a goal from my angle. A penalty was called, but it didn't even get reviewed? Any one else know what i'm talking about? We had a pretty good angle on that goal as we were sitting 3rd row, on the end where the Sioux shoot in the second period. Evidently, those seats "opened up" late in the day. My wife and i arrived a bit late to have supper in GF before the game, but we successfully used the parking ramp and bus system. Everything went pretty well for us! We'll be watching on TV tonight!

Let's rephrase the question and see if it makes sense? How exactly would the UND hockey team picking up the 8th national championship this year (or any year) be good for North Dakota in general? My answer is any exposure for the State of North Dakota from a winning sports program of _____(insert University here)___ is good for North Dakota in general. PS: Yes, include Mayville, Minot, Mary, Jamestown, Valley City, Dickinson, Williston, Devils Lake, etc.

JFR, here's a little advice, if you want traffic to your website for an NDSU game at Rutgers, post it on bisonville.com. Posting it here on Siouxsports will just cause the hatred to spread, and it's really not necessary.

No player introductions and historys are needed for the SS fans, as was needed for the Oiler fans.... And I see sioucia signed up for the Oiler board and used her one post to make sure the record was set straight!
