Looks like I'm the first to check "Other". Not a student, or alunm. I'm not a general Sioux fan as all I love is the hockey program, and don't follow the other sports much. I'm a fan of other teams but since this is in the hockey forum, I'm assuming it is hockey teams specific. So therefore, "Other" fits me best.

My memory thought the same thing, but hockeydb.com says 2 years (darn brain cancer ). Brady was a very good player, and UND was a much better team with him healthy. But he was hurt quite a bit.

Congrats on Andrew! Just remember to teach him the important things in life, Sioux are good and Bison and Gophers are bad! Good luck with the remaining treatments. NDFAN...congratulations on your little boy! NDFAN- you really aren't missing much on the combines. They all eventually just go in circles! I like to think that the combines are practicing cycling the puck (not just going in circles). Also, I'll be very difficult to teach him the Bison are bad, as that's where I graduated from. But I love Sioux hockey, and the Gophers are BAD! That will be easy to teach!

Unfortunately, my wife had some complications from the birth and we spent most of yesterday in the emergency room trying to get rid of the problem. My wife did get discharged, but she will be on some medication for the next 5 days or so. We just really need a break from hospitals for this summer. I so badly wanted to climb into one of the combines I observed operating on my adventure on Saturday, but maybe next year.

Well, based on genetics, I doubt he'll be playing college football. I'd love for him, and his older brother to make the hockey squad, but Casselton doesn't have hockey, yet. The baby is home adn doing well. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Long time listener, first time caller. Great topic for discussion! Well, my wife is 36 weeks pregnant now, so that kind of spoiled most of the summertime camping and traveling. But that's ok I guess. I spoiled it too, as in the middle of May, I had surgery to remove a Level 3 cancerous brain tumor. So I've been recovering from that, and taking radiation and chemotherapy. Overall, I'm doing very well, and I have lost some hair due to the radiation. Otherwise, I don't have any pain, and I get around pretty well. However, I still let the neighbors mow the grass. So overall, it's not a bad summer to spend around home. There is always next year.

Once the brackets are set, there is no reseeding depending on who wins. It's like the Basketball bracket in that respect. There are no changes based on who wins.

I had a lot of fun at the BWW in north Fargo last year when UND beat Wisconsin. I'd suggest meeting up there again even though it's a long way for me to drive.
