Not too worried about the offense, but very concerned about the defense,.
The offense will have to sustain long scoring drives and keep the defense off the field in order to win today
The player only meeting definitely did nothing, I thought I would see more effort. Football is supposed to be a violent game and UND was not being the hitters(didn't seem like they tried to at all). As you are saying they are catching blockers, I understand there have been injuries but that doesn't mean you can stop playing angry and pissed off.
Doesn't seem like the culture is where it needs to be. Giving full effort, being a competitor, etc... I completely understand there have been 13 injuries to starters but where are the leaders of this team? Why does it seem like they aren't prepared and aren't giving full effort every play? Why all the mental mistakes and penalties? Why all the special teams miscues? Why have there been 3 touchdowns in the past two games that have to do with blown coverages? Why does it seem the guys aren't focused.
Injuries are obviously a huge part of our problem but it isn't the only problem
You can complain about the play calling all you want(I can understand why) but the offense looked good in the first half considering how beat up the o line is. That fumble really killed us
Montana st just did what Bubba wants UND to do to its oppenents. Run it up their ass, control time of possession, and solid defense. I left early as I could not watch it anymore, and I am a guy that would usually never leave early
This game was lost because the defense couldn't find a way to get off the field, plain and simple. Offense looked good in first two possessions but was hurt in the first half with drops and poor clock management
I understand that but he had the false start that killed the first drive, he did not block very well. Same with everyone, I didn't see the effort this team needs to be successful
