Let's see how they do against the purple cows and the rodents this weekend.

Is William & Mary the only recent case of the NCAA saying no to feathers on a new logo? I think it is total BS that we are afraid of putting feathers on a new logo. That raises the likelihood that the new logo will be plain, geometric and very ordinary; not the homerun needed to lift the spirits of UND fans having to accept the FH name.

It will be interesting to see how the Rodents fare this weekend against their traditional rivals (per Donny Lucia) the purple cows, St. Cloud and Bemidji coming off a road sweep of Wisco in Madison.

I'm thinking this is better than what we are going to end up with for a FH logo from an out-of-state designer.

I don't care for any of these bird logos especially the ones with the fork looking legs.

He just has to tap in those great setup passes from Schmaltz and Boeser for goals.

A winning formula for UND fans on this would be 1) have B. Brien design the logo 2) his design would be unique to ND 3) Have B. Brien incorporate some details of retired logo into new logo 4) stick to our guns with the NCAA regarding item #3. Yes, I know NCAA wouldn't like it. I'm afraid we're going to end up with a plain logo (geometric bird head) to go with our crappy FH name.

I wanted to see McD or Baldwin fire up a 3 for the tie. I love watching Q but his drive to the lane looking for the basket and foul at the end of the game has not worked in his 3 years at UND.

Refs missed 2 very obvious basket interference calls against the griz. They didn't review either one. Frustrating!

I'm going with secondary scoring to come from Gersich, Chyzyk and Simo

I really like Lennon as a coach, person, ND boy. Just surprised he didn't land in FCS or at least DII. Eau Claire is a great Wisco college town so maybe not a bad place for Dale to land.

I'm drifting over to the Sioux forever camp. My wife thinks I need to embrace the new name but I just can't do it.

Didn't hear any "Sioux forever" chants either night. Progress? Or will they return with the students back against UNO?
