I'm going to the Canada-Denmark game tonight to watch Tyson Jost and to see if Brock Boeser is there to watch him. Brock was at the USA game last night.

Brock staying certainly doesn't hurt our chances (though slim) of Schmaltz returning. Both are now legacy players. Another legacy in reach; 1st UND back-to-back in school history for hockey.

Two things are different this year than last year. 1) We have more talent across the roster this year on D, F and C. 2) We have BB as head coach who I believe has a more calming influence behind the bench. I loved Hak but do believe his demeanor during games was very tense and rubbed off on the players. We will bring our "A" game both nights and beat NU and the ugly helmets!

The big UCI center has a gimpy knee. He was wearing a wrap on it at the start of the game and came out of the locker room after the injury with ice on his knee. Shanks gave him a high school bump and he fell like a ton of bricks. Certainly not a cheap play by Shanks.

Rodents will have to win the B1G tourney in Detroit to get in. So the ugly helmets (or Penn State or Mich St) may have the pleasure of ending their season, not us. Dang!

I completed the survey and provided the top 5 criteria given to the committee. I suggested using a military theme and please, no cheesy bird logos.

I participated in one of the 1st 4 hour focus meetings Nov. 2014. There is nothing more to say. Maybe SME should look at the 12 criteria for the new name that came out of those meetings (criteria that was totally ignored by Karl G and co. on the task force). I am still so pissed and embarrassed with what we ended up with; f'n hawks!
