  1. UNDs talent on offense won it. Namely Brady. Brady literally ran through people yesterday. Unbelievable runs from that young man. That wasn't Rudolph that's all Brady!! If Brady wasn't playing this would of been a closer game then what it was. Nobody can arm tackle him ....he was a man on a mission! Santiago was sent up the same holes.....he didn't fair well. JJ had one beautiful run but not much else on his other 9 carries. They stacked the box pretty hard.....hmmmm weird. Missouri st, with all due respect, is really bad! Bad! Very likely they will not win a game this year. When it's apples to apples talent Rudolph will lose. Missouri st isnt an apple USDs D is getting better but it's the offense that makes them go. UND should do ok Saturday offensively, even with the massive road block that is Rudolph. Their is a football buzz going on in vermillion...and they want revenge from last years loss. Home crowd should be amped!! NEED TO CONTAIN STREVELER!!! Hell of an athlete and very slippery. Big boy. UNDs D will have its hands full Ive given up with saying UND needs to use their TEs because that will never happen. Very difficult to fit them in the offensive scheme I guess. So here's to Santiago up the middle first play. Wonder if it would be extremely difficult to send Santiago out wide with MOOSE in the backfield to start a game. I would assume it would be. But come out with a three wr set with wanzek on one side and izzy and Santiago on the other side. USD would sh&$ their pants. have Keaton stare/look at Santiago for a screen toss only to find wanzek with all green around him on the opposite side. If it worked ...great!!! If it didn't ....well maybe at least USD would have to loosen a tad on stacking the line. Then MOOSE TIME!!!!
  2. the starting four backers against SD will be program weight of 200, 200, 210,215. Two of them are definitely not 200 and the other two just break the barrier. Outside the three DL ...Cole is by far the 4th biggest player on D Streveler is 230. He will be very hard to contain. He's a dude *I'm not feeling confident about this game with the injuries
  3. Rastas is very football intelligent. Great hips and movement and loves to hit ....just needs another 30 lbs.
  4. You mean the mosh pit!! Good lord. I tried to enter but it looked a little to dangerous, so I turned back and headed for safer grounds. They were having a blast ....nice to see.
  5. The sound system on the catwalk sounded as if one held their hand over their mouth while speaking. The lighting was A+ ....well done.
  6. Demon out for some time ...broken bones in hand/wrist.

    Injuries

Donnells injury is massive. Hope it isn't to bad. With him out UND essentially starts three DL , two cbs and 6 safeties ( based on size). The four starting LB crew bounce around 200 lbs. Before the season started UND lost three high impact players: MLB- Connor-(retired) sen- the qb of the D CB-Deion- all American - sen- out for year OT- Elijah- (quit/ non injury) had potential to be unds highest draft pick others: S- Andre- had him pegged as starter opposite Cole - out for year MLB- cam- hudl tape shows he's explosive and has the look. Believe he might play this year? MLB- Noah- big dude and fast. very cerebral. Looked real good in fall practice. Very likely would be a starter if he is able to come back. WR/PR- seibel- senior that does the "dirty" work. FB- norberg- sen- massive dude that has played a ton of career mins WR- cam- very explosive player. Could add a whole new element to unds offense MLB- Donnell- starter/stud OG- Demon- starter/ unds best OL ? RB- Austin - suspended for year/ non injury The MLB group has taken the most "hits". With no bye week again this year, these injuries are magnified even more. If Donnell and Noah are not able to come back ...Rastas and Jake will have to play heavy mins for the next 2 and half months straight. Absolutely love those two, but at MLB, that's asking a lot out of two 200 lb. I don't think geier or Dijon are ready. Oscar could maybe spell them Bubba is just starting to build quality depth...UND needs a little help on the injury front ...please no more injuries!!
  8. Sdsu 31-27. Mont st qb is the real deal. Like him a lot.
  9. Bobcats miss fg goedert injured
  10. Td mont st......hold on....holding
  11. Start of 4th qtr sdsu 24-21 over mont st. Mont st qb real impressive
  12. SD handling BGSU ! Tough tough game next week.
  13. You don't have to , I will. They gave up nearly 900 yards to Missouri last week. WAYYY to much no matter the opponent! I sat down by the Missouri st fans for 2qtrs, great people btw, and they laughed to a certain degree as I was calling a lot of the plays before they happened. Any decent D with a decent DC will hurt UND
  14. Nice win. Crowd was big and quiet.. nice to see the attendance and people interest. UNDs D is one if the best in the fcs ....period!! Hope Donnells injury is not serious .....he is needed. The moose is a complete beast!! Knocks the $&@$ out of anyone near him!!! That's the way football is played!! Wanzek with a great game Rudolph is still a horse$&@$ play caller. Looks good against inferior opponents. UND should have scored 50-60 points today. Missouri st is on par with mayville st, defensively. He refuses to turn to page two in play book.
  15. Gf herald mentioned it will be close to a sellout and have had a great number of student purchases!! Great to hear. Need the students to be loud and proud....but more importantly .....rip the bears bench. Aldo of note....was downtown last night and talk about great football promoting by UND and business's....painted windows of UND football everywhere!!! 12th man could/should be a huge distraction today .....difference maker!!! Let's bring it!!
  16. Game day!! our group of 10-15 will roll in around noonish
  17. It's incredibly impressive. Big sky defense maybe? Imagine if Rudolph opened his playbook instead of using it as a fly swatter! UND wouldn't have to come from behind nearly every game for a victory. They would/could have the defenses on their heels early and often and then power it down the throats of the opponent in the second half. Also, I hate worrying about Santiagos health taking a beating like he does. Let him work the edge with pitches or screens, early in the game, to have the opposing "bigs" chase him around....possibly tiring them. Powering it up the middle with a 175 pounder plays right into the hands of the 275 -300 men waiting for him. They don't have to move. Have them run!!
  18. .....or lack of.
  19. I agree with a lot of this....but you mentioned that he needs to up his performance and leadership. His leadership is top notch. Performance could use a little tweaking but it's definitely more a OC not using his skills properly. Would never consider him all American status but he has the tools to set UND up on a deep run in the playoffs if given the chance. Their is talent on the offense ...wished it would be used to their potential.
  20. Predictability, predictibiliy, predictability !! The opposing Ds are setting 9 in the box , disguised or not, against UND on 1st and 2nd downs. They know what's coming! We all know what's coming!! Try and set up the rush game once by passing to start a game! Or maybe delays....pitches....screens....etc... and for the love of God....use the &$!&@%* TEs !!!! I love a run heavy offense but to watch Santiago plow his way into a waiting wall of giants on 1st and 2nd downs is frustrating. Would love to see Santiago go out wide . Doubt that will ever happen. UND pulled Izzys shirt to have him clap from the sidelines!? Frustrating. UND does have TEs! Look at last week what happens when you use them. The list goes on and on The opposing DCs job is made easy: 1st down - Santiago straight up the gut. 9 in the box 2nd down - Santiago off the tackles hip. 9 in the box 3rd down- obvious pass- the opposing defenae backs off a tad, knowing that UND passes on every 3rd down and more often then not brings a blitz package to disrupt Keaton. 4th down. Punt!! Repeat.
  21. 24-23 UND. Ive stated my concerns over Rudolph and the predictability. What's the chance that unds first play will be Santiago straight up the middle?
  22. 11,200 ....hoping for 12000+.
  23. Jmu is head and shoulders better then any other fcs team currently. Can they be beaten?? Yes! But it would require a perfect game.
  24. If I had any faith in Rudy, I would predict UND to win and win comfortably. As it is ......24-23 UND.
  25. SD. Mizzou doesn't play D so Missouri st offense looked much better. Missouri st will have their hands full this weekend. If Rudolph goes to page 2 of his playbook UND will win
