Western making it a game now. Their OC adjusted.....would be nice to have an OC that recognizes game change. USD will be hard to beat for anyone.
-
They match up with anyone. Beat sdsu last year and lost by 7 to the team to the south. They are much better this year. Barring injuries of course.
-
Td USD. They are walking away with it
-
Cmon guys get this win and get your mojo back.
-
Just going post that. They are absolutely dominating. 404 yards to 172 so far. I would venture to say best team in mvfc

Mason Bennett has been fantastic this year. Tank lost some weight, and maybe as an individual he feels great, but losing 10-15 lbs has made him a bit liable. He still warrants a duo of o linemen. But with a 3-4 D it's the ILB that make the plays inside and that's what's missing. Because of the injuries, Schmitty can't send the DEs in for a heavy pass rush....so the sacks will be far and in between this year. If he had more trust with the ILB, you would see more blitz packages. In other words, he needs to keep his guys near the line . Football is without a doubt the most complete team sport. It's take a full team effort.

ZERO faith in Rudolph. Absolute Zero! He is infatuated with predictability and lacks the skills to game change. Zero impulse to game flow. He is currently riding a three year fail. We as fans, should have the pleasure to watch Santiago for another one and half years. Rudy thinks he's a 6'2" 230 lb power back. No clue....and frustrating as hell to witness. The likes of Santiagos don't come around all that often. Because of injuries, the O has a very young inexperienced line....no seniors and one jun. One senior starter on offense....studsrud. Rudolph couldn't get it done when he had experienced talent. I'm hoping for 10 first downs and 10 points against UC Davis...cross the fingers. The D is unable to bail him out this year As everyone knows, the defense is decimated by injuries! Namely up the middle. With four LB at 200 lbs, UND essentially has four studsruds starting at the backer positions and with the minutes they put on the field they cannot do it. Frustrating The flags need to stop! Unbelievable amount of foolish penalties this year. With Rudy running the offense and the D down to skeletons, they need to play very disciplined and heady. Maybe the player only meeting hit a nerve with the young guys they might come out with nasty we haven't seen this year. This team needs a spark! Hope the momentum swing starts in California. wont predict a score do to the inept OC but need a win to stop the bleeding.

You're right, Rudolph is a masterful OC...my bad.

Forgot Cam McKinney. Was to be unds top level guy.

Can you fill us in as to what the deeper concerns outside of injuries are? Of the injuries that I mentioned .. two already garnered All American status while one (Donnell) will garner all American before he graduates. All eight would of been in the two deep. You say the best linebackers don't have a shot when the front gets pushed? Remember ratelle and taj?? They had the exact front, minus Noah, that this year has, but when the front was basically freshman. So yes, the best backers do make a difference...a massive difference. Connor was a capt as a jun for a reason....he was highly intelligent and the qb of the D. He made the reads and called the plays. With Connor and Donnell you have experienced 230lb backers instead of inexperienced 200 lbs. Losing Cole and Deion speaks for itself. Evan being the fastest player on the team was just turning the corner on the coverage skills he lacked as a true fresh. Defensively up front , Tank does his job by typically occupying two OL. That allows one LB to watch the gaps inside. Having Connor and Donnell would have made a big difference with the wear and tear inside. Having the offense go three and out puts a ton of pressure on the light backers UND has now. The TOP is being dominated by the opposing teams this year, that wears on the lightweight inexperienced backers and D in general Is the D perfect ...no! But the injuries are the reason why they are failing.

Big game aka Rudolph

Backups should be Rastas and cam. When/if Rastas adds 20-25 lbs he will an animal. He has the perfect mentality to play LB and plays very agressive....just way to small currently to play all the mins he has been asked to do. Will be a great backup to Noah and Donnell. Cam is such an unknown as he has been injured the entire time he's been here. But definitely looks the part physically and by his hudl tape. My guess is that they will bring in maybe a couple transfers/juco players?

New additions: S- Cole- sen- good lord the football gods hate UND this year fiedler- TE- starting TE
-
He is not ready. He plays "lost", not focused from what Ive seen at practices. He's seems bouncy but never around the play.
-
Defensively speaking...injuries are the only problem. If UND had Connor and Donnell and Cam and Noah at ILB and Deion and Evan at cb and Andre an Cole at safety they would be one of the top Ds on the fcs. As it is...nope!
-
Rudolph at his best JJ had a great game as well.
-
Hard to swallow ...but true
-
Correct. This year is not looking good.
-
I would say no on Noah....no need to burn his shirt. Not looking good this year
-
Defensively. UND will not be able to stop anyone up the middle all year. No clue what UC Davis has or is all about but they will get plenty chance a to put up big numbers. UNDs offense actually has to be the one to bail out the team....won't happen. UC 38 -28

The initial post was not directed to you .....it was directed to someone that clearly stated they were selling their tickets for homecoming.
-
You brought up injuries ....what lines from what schools that have sustained 5 injuries from a particular position that are moving opposing lines???
-
Everyone has their top 5 guys removed from one one position(ILB) ????? Give me some details on that. F&$% the bison!!! The o line isn't always the issue. Does mont st or USD have a top o line....no!!!! OC should adjust to what he has and play accordingly.

Would have been a tough D with Connor and Donnell in the middle. Next
