Went to the college hockey tab on ESPN+ last night and all of the games started at the same time. Getting NCHC would give them more asynchronous hockey, and some name brands to counter the Big Ten (ESPN is SEC). College hockey is niche and all, but ESPN went all in on the sport.

Just booked flights for the series in Dinkytown next season.

Having first mover advantage for the entire WHL makes it even better. From what I heard about Chyzowski he wouldn't fit in with the current staff. Will be interesting to see how he does for Denver this weekend.

Those CCHA schools have a lot of landmines to dodge with little upside for their wins; if they are still there in 2 months they'll have earned it.
