Probably no school again in the fall either?

I wouldn't base much on "fatality rate." The very sick were tested first. The rate will continue to decrease as more people test positive and have mild or little symptoms.

The Minnesota governor stated Wednesday: That math comes out to over 4 million deaths nationwide. Don't forget he also said 40 to 80% of Minnesotans will get Coronavirus no matter what they do. The best news that will come out of all this....The next time an expert projects 4 million deaths from a pandemic. We will not even break a sweat. All we have to do is "shelter in place" for a few weeks and that number will drop by at least a multiple of 50.

Neil Ferguson is also a world renowned specialist in infectious disease epidemiology but I wouldn't have really taken his advice seriously. But that's just me.
-
It has already been discussed here when it first came out. He conservatively estimates 480,000 USA deaths in the next three to seven months.
-
Correct. He didn't say we are the next Italy. That was other experts proclaiming it two weeks ago.
-
Thankfully we are number one per capita for ventilators. I'd really hate to see those numbers for Italy.

I guess we will now know the exact date Burgum orders us to keep doing the same thing we're currently doing, but with a fancy title.

You know he posted the sources to the information right?

New York Governor going to order everyone to social distance themselves by moving to Montana.
-
New York Governor: Keeping everyone at home probably wasn't the best idea. Ten minutes later..... Montana Governor: Keep everyone at home!
-
Don't forget this weekend is when the experts told us we "become Italy"!

We know Dougie is next. He loves to follow others.

Most governors "honest assessment" has the peak in the middle of April.
-
No one would have ever had such foresight! Yet we still have governors continue to shut more things down.
-
My favorite is to yell "Six Feet!" when I see two people standing close together.

Italy's daily deaths and new coronavirus cases peaked March 21. ...so far.

"Fargo daycare says it may soon go out of business due to the coronavirus shutdown."

When are we gonna call this for what it really is, a bar and restaurant shut down (a some others who self closed). So many business still open. Barbers. Upholstery shops. Used car lots. Mechanics. Body shops. Print shops. Auto Part Stores. Construction sites. Computer repair shops. "CD and music" shops. Vaccuum repair. Bookstores. Etc. If you're not a bar or restaurant and you closed down. Might as well reopen.

Two professors of medicine at Stanford in the WSJ yesterday wrote: Is the Coronavirus as Deadly as They Say? Are the non alarmists finally starting to speak out? When will a governor finally start to speak out?

And now today this study made Forbes. Chloroquine Use For COVID-19 Coronavirus Shows No Benefit In First Small—But Limited—Controlled Trial No Z-pak was used. No control group. The other group didn't receive placebos but antiviral/antibiotic drugs. Virtually everyone recovered....which is to say did they all have mildish symptoms? The title article headline should read "Chloroquine Use For COVID-19 Shows Benefit in First Small -But Limited - Controlled Trial - But a So Do Other Drugs."

It's almost like for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.
-
So essentially not much of anything will change. In places like California it's probably to ban parks and other outdoor gathering spots....But they have warmer weather. How will this change anything in Minnesota?

Finger prick testing is in the works.
