I believe it has to do with the waiting list and the amount of people such as myself looking for spots. He said a few others also called and wanted numerous spots as they bought tailgating rigs....shoot can't remember the number he gave me...30 or 50 are on the list....IIRC they were going to send out renewals in a month or two after the meetings with the Alerus officials.

It's generally not the number of tailgating spots. It's the tailgating "season pass" where your spot is reserved and you pay less for the whole season: $15 per game per space vs $50 for the season.

I'd think something like that is my best bet.

Dexter Albrechat and myself had a nice long chat the other day. I called about getting a season tailgating spot. The bad news is they are still sold out with a waiting list. The good news is they are in talks with the Alerus about expanding the reserved spots and was pretty optimistic that the Alerus would do so. The offseason: a perfect time to get ready to step it up for tailgatig next year. I'd love to have full size UND football helmet. I have searched online but all I could find was someone selling cheap crappy ones on eBay that aren't even close to a replica. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Trading your best year for your worst year...sort of a fallacy. Your trade your worst year for a little bit better year. Add a little muscle, practice with the team, and get use to academics but still have to play the games to really get better whether that's true freshman or redshirt freshman.

Not sure if it has already been mentioned, but North Dakota and Minnesota are currently in talks about playing a game in Grand Forks. The close game this year though doesn't help.

The bison had their super bowl and think they can beat anyone that Kansas state beat....just like UND could beat any basketball team NDSU beats.

What stops Doug Fullerton from talking to the sun belt conference about adding the big sky teams and having its own "Big Sky Division"....winners of the division get to play each other. Sounds pretty enticing. Not to mention playing Big Ten teams again and larger non conference payouts.

Sorta funny....the contradictions. You don't think the same thing happened at the cotton bowl. When you have fans from both teams, the fans are going to cheer whoever is on o or d. And if any fan heard "let's go ....." the other teams fans basically will always try to chant the or their team trying to drown them out. Hard to hear that pin drop at the cotton bowl when the fans were more divided.

And I might sugg est it doesn't matter where the games are played And I might suggest it doesn't matter where the games are played if you arent very good. I might suggest the bison have been #1 going into the playoffs had a good chance vs UND which hasn't been the number one overall going into the playoffs (Hak era nine years)?...the bison had to beat over a hundred team to earn the number one overall seeding vs UND having to beat 60 teams. Gotta be more "parity" in college hockey.
