  1. Dang. It's in Minnesota. So not the correct thread. There's a new bar in the works in Moorhead. Called Starbird Lounge. (Airplane mode) Just happens, I recently got into tiki. So I'll be curious to see what its like. Also sad 2 see the iconic Psycho Suzi's closed in Minneapolis. But now I see I have to check out: Rum Row and Tilted Tiki in Stillwater. Don't watch Spikes Breezeway Cocktail Hour on youtube. It's not good for the waistline.
  2. Hak has had an amazing NHL coaching career. I was surprised to hear just how short lived virtually all NHL coaches are. They seem to just enjoy rotating them. Of course, like at UND, just missing those deep playoff runs. (Don't @ me. Deep 2 me is Natty or runner up.)
  3. Exactly. Maybe it's outdated. But use to be popular outside grocery stores during the summer in my day.
  4. They might start construction in half a decade from now if the car washes are successful. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/local/grand-forks-47th-avenue-interchange-approved-by-federal-highway-administration
  5. Confirmed. It sold out last year. I believe this is the biggest PBR event that comes to North Dakota and Minnesota. As always, can't beat $15 nose bleed seats. (Save fees. buy at Alerus). See ya there tomorrow.
  6. Preliminary Summer of 2156 https://www.wdayradionow.com/news/regional-news/75563-new-i-29-interchange-to-be-built-in-grand-forks I'd bet they still don't have the money. And are probably thinking of having a car wash for a fundraiser.
  7. Like Qdoba use to be? Or maybe my hands are just getting bigger.
  8. Anyone tried the new Chicago Burritos?
  9. So did the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) at the Alerus get too big over the last few years and now they felt like they had to open the other side of the arena? All the former years the entire audience (90%) sat looking straight on to the "main stage." Now virtually the entire audience has to look crank their head to see the "main stage." This is usually how things go...get big...change to accomodate...then people stop going...wonder why no one comes anymore... I'll save ya some time "Old man yells at clouds."
  10. Very unimpressed last time I was there. On the other hand, just had the fajita quesadillas at Casa Mexico in EGF: orgasmic. Side note: this is racing celebrity Scott Bloomquist eating at Casa Mexico. Clips of his appearance on Dale Jr Download are available on youtube.
  11. I love the look. The Fighting Hawks logos really pop. Much better than the new university Apts on the other end of campus.
  12. Just had the Spicy Pickle. Was very good.
  13. Oops. I responded to a question about a Grand Forks mayoral candidate. Please forgive me. We agree though: As my point was a polite society wouldn't talk about such a person, even if they are a public figure. Especially at SS with a no politics policy.
  14. Such a sad state of mental illness with such individual it feels shameful talking about "them." Especially when you see "their" gofundme" page.
  15. The owners are out here blasting to the media how they can't find anyone to work because they offer some of the lowest wages in the city. Odd flex.
  16. Didn't seem anything like the Loft to me. Even if it's the same owners. Agree with the large tables. The food was good.
  17. Speaking of overrated...is Panda Express?
  18. Lesser talented teams have to "grind/cycle." Skilled teams use skill and don't "grind," it would be a waste of talent. All 8 games were more or less skilled vs grind teams....all close games...with all non grind teams winning. (Cornell vs Maine and Michigan vs UND = tossup....evenly matched)
  19. And there's no such thing as "get them next year" or "We have a young team" It's now: every year is basically a new team because of all the transfers. This year was not an exemption. It was the rule.
  20. Wait....let me try this... This isn't your Hakstol's NCAA tournament....when it was easy to get to the Frozen Four....way too much parity nowadays....by parity it means....only rich schools with private back channel NIL deals are successful in today's Era! That's why you see Berry relying on the Portal so much!
  21. Zero public schools, not named Big Ten left.
  22. On second look, it seems even Q is rich.... Twice as rich as UND... by endowment.
  23. Don't looks now but besides Q.....it's all big money programs left.... NIL
