That doesn't differentiate from #3. Of which st cloud (if #2) goes to St paul. So basically only two ways to go to St Paul more than likely. #1 overall and gophers stay home or #2 overall.

Not sure what you're trying to get at but I'll say sure. But the Alerus can't sell 4,000 SRO tickets to actual people though. I'm sure there's a limit to the number of people that can attend a UND football game thanks to "code." Unless of course it was still under capacity with those 4,000 people but wouldn't that be counterproductive to your point of trying to get over 15,000. I believe, its usually its a "foundation" that buys all the "unused" tickets at the reduced rate, and they were 4,000 tickets "to the game" yet had to watch it on TV in the Ballroom.

Here's what you should have said: The Big Ten sucks (and not just competitively) because no one wants to only play five other teams all year long, with each one a guaranteed four games against each. If the NCHC can get six out of eight teams in the national tournament (last year), the Big Ten could get four (in the current format). Its about winning games not how many teams are in the conference.
-
So all you did was agree with me and describe how schedules usually work in college hockey (which I'm aware of)?
-
I think they call that SRO. Good try, and probably been tried, and that's why the rules state a 1/3 of highest regular tickets.
-
But the same number of hockey games will be played. Currently the Big Ten could schedule any cupcake they wanted. All this does is take those nonconference games and turns them into guarantee games every year. If CC and Western wasn't in the NCHC, UND would just schedule Uconn and Anchorage instead. What I'm hearing is it'll make the Big Ten "look more respectable."
-
Maybe Notre Dame would say "Heck lets move conferences too."
-
CC be like "Let's get this season over already. Its getting warm outside..."Fore!"
-
This way the conference can get splits with ASU and UConn instead of getting swept by UMD and SCSU.
-
Not to mention, free booze and apps for a couple hours.
-
The hockey team has gotten a few of those over the years.
-
And running there would help him "warm up."
-
I doubt he drove from the dorm (walsh?). He could have ran over in two minutes. He said warmups were about over when he got the call. So the timing is probably about right. Giving him about twenty minutes from entering the Ralph to get his gear on and to the bench.
-
As was pointed out last year, start thinking about taking time off from work for the locals if they want to attend the Frozen Faceoff on Friday, as there was an "uproar" here about UND requesting to play the early game.

I've always thought it might light a fire under a coach knowing they have a good season they'd make more money and/or get another contract. Sometimes a back up against the wall produces good results. With the players returning and the potential seen from this team, Jones could embrace the challenge. Heck they have a pretty easy path to the Semis, he could help his negotiations for next year by what he does this week.

My point is its good to compare apple to apples. You talk about Duke basketball is like talking about UND hockey. I don't think anyone would disagree with you on the point.

I never got the whole "break FBS apart," You'd sure think the G5 would do everything they can for that not to happen. One one hand they complain about not wanting to be FCS and how its 2nd tier that nobody pays attention too. Then on the other hand claim how great it would be to compete with "like minded" institutions. Do they not realize they would be essentially "FCS" with the break and a bunch of current FCS teams would join "watering it down." And a bunch of G5 teams doing everything they can to try and get a P5 invite. Thus, ending up in the exact same situation.

LOL. Not disagreeing, It's illegal, but the laws are changing and if it was across the river in Minnesota basically a "speeding ticket" iirc. Just pointing what likely happened wouldn't have been "illegal" in some states (or possibly a few years from now in ND) and they wouldn't have been arrested. Interesting times ahead. I don't think the punishment should be severe, but what that may be Idk. Doesn't mean I agree with them breaking the law or team rules.

And could have legally bought at a store if they were enrolled at some colleges in this country.

I told ya'll the Ohio State loves the new Big Ten Hockey Conference.

No tv? That's a far distance for a home and home weekend.
